Family Vacation

We're making our stay at this hotel a yearly family vacation. Weather was nice and the amenities were nice as well. Staff could be a little friendlier but once you're all checked in you can just enjoy your stay.

Nice Hotel

Pros: On the Beach
Location: Shops and eateries
Other than Rain when we got there, we had a good time. Lots to do on the Boardwalk. Plenty for Kids to do.

OK hotel with beach view

Pros: Beds were comfortable, room was well-cleaned each day.
Cons: Full beds instead of queens felt a little tight. Beach view was partially obstructed by the other arm of the building. Bathroom was very cramped.
Location: Location is on the beach, but you have to walk out and around the front of the building to get beach access, so it feels weird. Drive to boardwalk.
This Holiday Inn wasn't quite as nice as others we've stayed in. It's an older building, though the rooms are relatively updated. The indoor pool is fine. Outdoor pool looks nice but it was not in season during our visit. The breakfast option was a little different- we were given gift cards for the in-hotel restaurant to use at any time ($25/day for 2 adults and 2kids). I thought it wouldn't be enough, but they give the kids free pancakes and the prices netted out that we actually had a bit leftover on the card. The food was also better than your typical hotel included breakfast buffet, though much slower and you have to tip your server separately. It was definitely not luxurious like I had hoped, I think for that feel you'd need to choose the Hilton or the holiday inn & suites down the boardwalk. We paid a lot over a holiday weekend, but normally I suspect the price more accurately reflects the experience.

Update the Rooms!

Old room, super small old bathroom, kitchen that wasn't needed. Nice view of ocean. Nice tv.

Older hotel, needs updating

When booking an Oceanview room, be sure to ask for a room that is directly facing the ocean. When my family and I arrive we had a rude awakening and found out our Oceanview room was in fact a garden view room. Don't fall for the hype. Staff is friendly but the hotel is in need of major renovation.

Nice and friendly environment. Staffs are very welcoming. Nice restaurants . Hot tub was little dirty and there was this smell in the Kate evening in the lobby so bad!!!!
