Needs work
The room definitely needs work. Lots of mold in bathroom and on air conditioning vents.the room looks like it had water leaks at one point by stains on walls. Mice in the room at night.

Thank you for the feedback. Unfortunately, being on the bay creates an opportunity for unwelcomed guests to access the resort. We have routine pest control twice a month. We will address the mold issue immediately.

The Hotel was nice the room was but my only issue is I’ve never stayed at a hotel that doesn’t clean the room and replace the linens automatically while your out… This hotel only cleans the room after you leave and you have to request fresh towels and linens and make the bed yourself needless to say for the money I spent on this room I should not have to make a bed or request a thing it should of been done automatically but I will never stay at that hotel again that’s for sure…

Location is wonderful especially a room with water view. Staff is all professional especially Donna. Rooms are clean but not perfect. I believe certain parts of hotel need to be deep cleaned , replaced or updated.( balcony curtains, sofas in rooms, hall carpets definitely, only 1 elevator working ). If you can overlook all those then it’s excellent

Stayed here many years ago and I remember it being much nicer. Definitely a lot more run-down since then. The best part about this place is the location. A little remodel would do this place wonders. I would rate it a 6/10. Not the worst place I have ever stayed but wasn’t too terrible for the price.

It's very well situated for access to both the southern and northern halves of Ocean City, so all restaurants and other venues are nearby.

Front desk not that friendly. Can't check in till 4. We traveled 4 hrs and got there 30 min before check in and had to wait outside. Not really hospitable

We are sorry that you weren't able to check in early. Sometimes the units aren't available for an early check in due to a possible maintenance issue. We are glad that you arrived just before 4pm and didn't have to wait for an extended amount of time.

Room could be updated and had a small musty smell… elevator got stuck … had to get our own fresh towels because housekeeping never replaced them … bathroom was nice .. and we enjoyed the pool and game room

The hotel was in the middle of renovations, so we were unable to utilize the front entrance. The front desk people were not very friendly.

The room had a musty moldy smell. The bathroom had what looked like black mold in the ceiling. The whole room itself had a moist feeling and smell and the sofa and bed sheets felt damp.

Great stay, was quiet, staff was amazing. The property definitely needs some updates. Being near the beach puts a lot of wear and tear on a building but didn’t affect our stay at all. Love that you are near Fager’s and other restaurants and bars.

I have stayed at Coconut Malorie many times around 20 years ago and i thought it was the coolest hotel! There are some unique and charming aspects of the hotel like the view, the game room/library and gym. Unfortunately, Wyndham needs to invest a little more in this hotel for some upgrades. New carpet/flooring and new mattresses/sofas should be top of the list. Other than that, the staff was pleasant and helpful, and the Manager was almost perfect at communication and de-escalating my annoyance about the concerns I had with the 2 rooms my family stayed in. She did her best during a busy weekend to keep us comfortable and happy. All in all, the hotel is still one of my favorites because of the features, and I hope to see the investors do some upgrades soon. The hotel deserves it.

All in all a very nice stay
The accommodations were very nice. The view was beautiful. Despite detailed instructions on how to brew a cup of coffee it did not work. Other than that the stay was better than expected

Horrendous!!!!! I do NOT recommend. We stayed for a long weekend in a king suite and for the price, the service was terrible. There was no hot water and no air conditioner and no matter how many times we addressed the issue with the front desk the answer was “we will notify maintenance” and “a manager will be in Monday”. For an 85° weekend our room stayed at 76°. That’s extremely uncomfortable. They did absolutely nothing to accommodate us in anyway. Donna, the attendant at the front desk continued to text and ask how are stay was and I can reassure you every time I responded with an upset answer we heard nothing back. I personally will not refer any there and wherever I can leave a review I will make it known how rude and inconsiderate they are to their guests. If you have any concerns, good luck finding someone to speak too or address with your concerns.

This property is terrible!!!! The furniture in the rooms are old. There was only 1 nightstand next to the bed. Drawers on the furniture hanging uneven due to wear and tear. The curtains were dirty. Unable to control the temperature in the room. Our room was freezing so the front desk gave us a space heater. We paid way too much to have our room heated by a space heater! There was hair from the previous guest in our tub and spoiled milk left in the fridge when we arrived. There was no housekeeping to clean our rooms during our stay. We had to sit towels and trash outside the door which was picked up 2 days later! This place is in desperate need of an overhaul!!

Although our building does have older specs to it, our staff gives 100% towards making sure any problems reported to the front desk are taken care of in a timely manner. Unfortunately, our building any has a 2 pipe HVAC system, so we only have A/C or heat at one time. Generally it is not this cold during this time of the year. We appreciate you taking your personal time to comment and tell us about the problems you faced.

Run down and very dated...dirty flooring and furniture in our room was worn and tattered ....so disappointed cuz the views of the bay r gorgeous....minimal hot water and no ac available for still warmer weather...had to get a floor fan out of the closet....crumbs on the table from previous people...very shabby...would never stay there again.....
