Great stay, i see what some people say about the train. It was fast like other reviews and its honestly not bad. If youre an easy person who doesnt naturally complain about every little thing then you will be fine.

The most disgusting place I’ve ever stayed in. The pictures and reviews are fake. The staff here were the rudest I’ve ever encountered. Dismissive, accusatory, passive aggressive, and honestly just in shock with my entire experience. I walked in to my room to find it had not been properly cleaned. Went to the front desk, and the attendant didn’t believe me that it had not been cleaned. Hesitantly, she gave me a different room. We went to grab food before going to the new room. The front desk attendant called moments later to tell us we left our pillow in the room and to say that she inspected the room herself and it looked clean and fine to her and that I should have taken pictures. Well I did. When I told her I did, she got mad and accused me of trying to get my money back for my stay. At that point, I did not go back to this horrid place. I went back for my deposit and checked out. Would I like my money back, yes. But will I be accused of lying for the sake of wanting my money back, absolutely not.

Easy access to downtown. It is near a train track so expect a little noise from that. It passes quickly. Pillows were great! I would stay here again.

The good: The proximity to town was what brought us to this hotel. Plus the hotel had undergone a "renovation" from the previous ownership and we saw some good reviews from that renovation. The person at the desk was nice enough. We didn't eat the breakfast so I can't comment on that, but there is one. The parking was plentiful. The water was hot and the towels clean. The not so good: the room wasn't the cleanest and the renovations must have been done by blind people. The walls and room in general showed previous water damage and the whole thing just seemed rundown looking with a fresh coat of drippy paint. The bed seemed new but was hard. The plug in on my side of the bed wasn't connected to anything. The plug in on the other side of the bed made my wife's cell phone sound like it was brewing tea. 😮 The trains and traffic were loud (earplugs needed). It was tricky getting to the place, you need to pay attention to the turns and will probably end up going under the overpass several times. I asked myself a couple of times if I would stay here again and I'm not sure, probably not.

Clean and comfortable at a great price.
If you’re looking for a clean comfortable place to stay near downtown Ocean springs then this is the place. It’s recently been remodeled and the price is great. It’s not a fancy five star hotel but it’s a safe and clean place with a friendly staff. It’s also close to the casinos and attractions in Biloxi.

Fresh and neat
This older property was recently remodeled and looks very fresh. The furniture is modern and attractive, and the mattress and pillows are new and comfortable. The bedspread, sheets and towels are quite thin, and no extra blanket was available. The breakfast was pleasant.

They are remodeling BUT the room we were in was not and smelled bad. We complained but they didn’t move us. Also we were in a non-smoking room but the sheets had cigarette burns in them. Those were a bit scratchy on the back as we slept

They were I the process of remodeling the property. One light bulb was out. The sheets and blankets were filthy. The smoke detector was ripped off of the ceiling.

***DON'T STAY HERE DON'T STAY HERE**** THE ROOM HAD WATER AND ROACHES IN THE REFRIGERATOR AND SPIDERS ON THE CIELING THAT FEEL INTO THE BED. THE BED HAD STAINS ON THE MATRESS AND ODORS ON THE BED SPREAD, HARD PILLOWS, THE TELEVISION DID NOT GO ON / WORK AND THEN THE RECEPTION TOLD ME TO FIX IT. THEY FINALLY CAME TO THE ROOM BUT ONLY GOT THE PICTURE WORKING BUT THE VOLUME NEVER WORKED. WE ASKED FOR A DIFFERENT ROOM BUT THEY TOLD US THEY HAD NONE. IN THE MORNING THE MANAGER AT THE FRONT DESK WAS INSULTING AND ABSOLUTLY UNPROFESSIONAL IN HIS CONDUCT WITH ME WHEN MENTIONED THE PROBLEMS. HE SAID I SHOULD HAVE STAYED IN ONE OF THE $500 A NIGHT HOTELS, HE SAID THATS WHAT I GET FOR $60 A NIGHT, THERE WERE NO PLATES TO EAT FROM AND WHEN I ASKED FOR A PLATE HE GAVE ME A BOWL. THIS WAS THE WORST PLACE TO STAY. THERE IS A TRAIN TRACK THAT RUNS RIGHT NEXT TO THE HOTEL AND THE TRAIN RUNS 5 OR 6 TIMES NIGHTLY, FROM 11 PM TO 6 AM.. DOING 30-40 MPH, THE A/C MAKES TOO MUCH NOISE, THE TOILET WAS NOT BOLTED DOWN SO WHEN THE TRAIN PASSED MY ROOMATE WAS USING THE TOILET AND THE TOILET MOVED AROUND ON THE FLOOR., IT WAS NOT BOLTED AND SEALED SO THE ODORS CAME FROM THERE. THE WASH BASIN WAS FILTHY AND THE FLOOR WAS MARKED WITH FOOT PRINTS. THE ONLY NICE THING I HAVE TO SAY ABOUT THIS HORROR HOTEL IS THEY HAD LOTS OF ICE. FILL YOUR COOLER AND THE BEST THING ABOUT STAYING THERE IS WHEN WE LEFT, NEVER TO RETURN. THIS ONES TO YOU ROGER THE NO GOOD MGR.********** DON'T STAY HERE!!!!!!*******

Maybe not a third time.
There was something on the wall and floor of the bathroom that I thought was absolutely unacceptable. Thankfully they gave me a different room but not without a bit of a protest. Wasn’t happy with the “you’ll have to take this up with management in the morning”. (It was 10pm) The replacement room had a boot print on one of the bedspreads. This was my second stay and the first time was flawless. Very on the fence about a third time.

Not very happy at all. Trains going by all night right behind the hotel. Room service not once cleaned the room for the 3 days we were there. Grill was nasty. Continintal breakfast was a joke. Tiny muffens by them selves is not a proper continental breakfast. Very over rated and very over hyped. Was unaware of the train tracks right behind the hotel, and should inform visitors of that on there page. Also found a huge roach in our room that i killed and disposed of. Nasty grill that in the pics looks well taken care of but hasnt been at all.

Room was damp feeling in the carpet and bedsheets. Most likely because of the poor AC unit. I paid for 2 nights so i could sleep in after working a late shift returning at 5am. Fire alarm started chirping once every 10 minutes about 1pm while i was trying to sleep. It kept me up so i just left at 2pm. Still charged me

The owners and staff are unfriendly and boarderline hostile. The rooms are surprisingly nice for being the lowest on the coast, so that kinda made up for the fact you had to face the tribunal at the front desk during check in.

I was surprised and a bit insulted that all of the best parking spots were labeled as employees only parking and hotel guests could be towed away. Not a very welcoming sign. The room had most light switch plates covered over and you had to turn the lights on at the lamp. It can also be difficult to get to due to the odd layout of the roads in the area. Also expect a loud freight train to come by about 3:00 am. It is close to the main drag, but past its prime.
