Pros: Friendliness and clean
Cons: Get some control over guests.
Didn't get to sleep until 4am due to drunk and loud guests. Didn't do well with 3 hrs of sleep.

Perfect location to see all the action

We had a great time we where at at the beach all day and then we came back to the room and there is a Mexican restaurant next door for dinner. And a man cooking try tip out in the parking lot on the other side s well.

First room was crappy. Then they switched us to an okay room which wasnt as bad but you can feel the springs in the mattress. Great location. Safe neighborhood. Super close to beach.

We appreciate the straight forward opinions of our customers. These reviews help us improve. Because some of our rooms were not up to par, we updated all the rooms in May 2017. Every mattress in the hotel was replaced with very high quality mattresses, identical to those used at a popular 4 star resort chain. We are confident you will not find a hotel with better mattresses in the area. I hope you will give us another chance. The hotel is under new ownership so those people who stayed more than a few month ago will notice the difference in the quality of our amenities once they return.

Clean and smelled fresh

It was a pleasent stay nothing spectacular but it was clean and smelled fresh. The people were nice.

Failed at being OK

I wanted this hotel to be ok, but it just wasn't. When I arrived, the tile floor in the bathroom and sink area was so sticky that my shoes made squelching sounds. I wiped it down with a towel and some hand soap, and the towel turned grey. Speaking of towels, you won't get any bath towels here. In the bath towel spot, there are some larger hand towels (maybe a foot and a half wide by two and a half feet long?) And they're thin, scratchy towels, too. The tub itself was dirty, with smudges all over and a ring of pink mold around the drain. I wished I'd brought flip flops with me to shower in; the bottom felt gross on my feet. But the worst problem was the awful chemical smell in my room. I am not particularly sensitive to smells, but whatever this was made my nose and eyes burn a bit in addition to smelling TERRIBLE. I called the front desk and they told me that the smell was not out of the ordinary. I slept with the window open even though it was cold. When I checked out, I told the owner (who was staffing the desk) about the sticky floor. He replied "sometimes they do a chemical thing". I said, "maybe that explains the awful smell." He shrugged. With more (or any) attention to cleaning it would be a great place. The rooms are spacious and the bed, though older, was comfortable. But unless they start cleaning the rooms - and with less horrible smelling cleansers - I would never stay here again. There are better options around. Pick one of them.

Too much noise

The maintenance guy needs to quit at 5pm Lots of road noise from traffic Gardeners leaf blowing Every time it's something new 2am a tow truck dropping off a movie car in parking lot making all kinds of noise.

The Rooms were clean. Beds a little uncomfortable. Great place if you are Riding the Dunes.
