It stinks. Dirty room. Drapes falling off the walls.floor not cleaned under the bed. Tv didn't work. Don't waste your money. I saw a dog pee on the wall on the tile floor on Sunday and when I checked our on the following Saturday the pee was still there.

Great Hotel Experience!

The staff was so friendly! The room was excellent and very clean! You could eat soup off that floor it was so clean! I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a great place to stay while in the Oceanside/Carlsbad area. Thank you very much Extended Stay for the great experience. First timer at this hotel brand, no perks for sure. Dog friendly.

Location suited my purposes

Pros: I like that there is a refrigerator and mini-kitchen facilities.
Cons: The tub was showing age. Water pressure is nonexistent. The rest of the bathroom was in good condition. The hallway had an odd fishy smell.
Location: There is shopping nearby and restaurants. The Shoppes are nearby. There is now an indoor skydiving place a couple doors down.
So, somehow ended up with a reservation for a smoking room(ick!) and there weren't any other non-smoking rooms left. I did book it last minute, so could be pilot error. The desk clerk Natalie offered to let me take a whiff of the room before committing or I could try to get expedia to find someplace else. The first room smelled ok so she checked me in and offered a tip to use bounce dryer sheets for the smell. Unfortunately, once checked in the AC in that room was not working at all. Natalie came up to check on it and offered me the room next door. That one was slightly more smoky but the AC worked. So, she did a good job with a difficult situation.

it is ok

hotel, does not have ice machine, there is a kitchenette in the room but no utensils or dishes. Room was clean and ok but price was too high for the quality of the hotel.

Not a bad hotel but the gentleman at the front desk had no customer service skills. Not friendly or welcoming at all.

My Stay At Extended Stay America - Oceanside, CA

My stay at Extended Stay America was what I expected it to be - a good stay. This hotel is designed for long term stay with a kitchenette for cooking. Unlike regular hotels, the housekeeping service is not done daily. I didn't mind that the housekeeping (maid service for making beds, bringing new towels, etc) is done about once a week, based on a schedule that you can select. In the interim, if you need clean towels or sheets, you can request them. When I did request towels, soap and shampoo, the clerk was courteous and provided them promptly. There is a laundry room available for guests to use. Parking was easy to find and the hotel is close to several restaurants in the area.
