Great location...run down facility

Pros: Location location location
Cons: Friendly desk person would be nice. replace old dirty carpet, paint/clean walls
Location: Harbor, beach Found a great spot at the Bagby Beer Company closeby.
The room was huge! The room was clean, but the hallways were filthy! Old dirty carpeting, Filth around the edges. It works if you are just looking for a place to sleep after a great day at the beach...but you would not want to hang out at the hotel.

Large room. In room fridge, microwave. No coffee

Close to beach. Dirty hallway carpet. Very bad breakfast. Cold cereal. 4 apples . That's it .. maybe coffee

This is a well maintained, older property. Very conveniently located near the harbor, beaches and pier. Clean and quiet rooms.

Should be closed by the health department.

We checked in on 9/7/17. I had upgraded to an ocean view which was partially ocean, but mostly a small body of water with weeds. The window was dirty and very difficult to see. We went to dinner just after check in and we returned to a bathroom full of live ants. They were on the cabinets, floor and tub. My wife refused to go in. I spoke with Noel the next morning and asked for a manager. None were on site. She offered compensation and eventually I was given a 50% credit. The Rodeway Inn in Oceanside should be closed for health issues. Jim Murphy

Thank you for your candid review. We sincerely apologize for the disappointments you experienced while staying with us. During the summer months it is extremely difficult to keep uninvited critters especially ants from coming into the hotel. With the exterior doors, windows, etc open a lot, they just find their way in. We are sorry for the stress this may have caused you. Additionally, we are sorry for the unclean windows in your room. This has been addressed with our housekeeping manager and we appreciate you bringing to our attention. Everything was well, only downside was the staff. Checked in and checked out. No information was given about breakfast, etc

Not the worst

I stayed here for a family reunion over labor day. The price was OK for the holiday. However there are many other places to stay in the area that are far nicer Cleaner Quieter More modern When it's NOT a busy holiday weekend. Even given the price I will not stay here again.

Dirty, lied about breakfast, hairs on sheet and st

I guess for the location you can't ask for more, but beginning with the hallways are smelly and the carpet is dirty. The room smelled dirty, the sheets had hairs, the rooms in the bathroom were stained, the toilet was old. The hotel claims it has continental breakfast but the reality is that all they have is cereal fruits coffee and juice, that's it. Never again.
