“The staff and amenities were good, but we have given this property a five star rating for its location, setting and vibe. It is further down the coast from the big gated resorts and is close to the white river. If you’re independently minded and like doing your own thing - perhaps with a rental car as we had, or even if you don’t- then this offers more freedom than a mega resort . One other thing we liked was that it is popular with Jamaican visitors, not just tourists . It enabled a lot more……

“Our 7 night stay was great! The room was clean, the location is walking distance to everything and it has 24 hour security. Our host made sure we had everything we needed and was only a text away if we had any questions.
Highly recommend if you want to experience Jamaica and its culture.

“We stayed at the Marine view for 10 nights. First impressions the hotel seemed a bit tired and in need of some TLC, however the staff were accommodating and helpful and the hotel was in a good location with easy access to the main attractions. The area may seem a little sketchy at first but we had no issues walking about.
The restaurant served very nice food the price was inline with other prices in the area.
