won't go again

Pros: employees
Cons: just about everything
after 3 hours to get there from airport, management treats you like an annoyance. we were told to sit down they would get to us. regular staff the best part of the whole experience. way over-rated, food not that great. limited choices. definitely our last time there

Great hotel

The place is amazing. The hotel staff went above and beyond to make sure everyone needs were met. My only complaint is the entertainment staff was not very engaging, and their sound system was so loud and terrible that everyone would leave. Good is good. Rooms great. Would go back.

Very small not too many activities .

Very upset the resort opened up a day to locals....very long lines and they basically took over all resort functions. This was never advised in our package.

Decent Hotel - nothing special

The best part of my trip was the two gentlemen at Front Desk - Renado and Neto. They provided prompt and courteous service. The food was good. The beach was nice. My room had ants. My door wouldn’t lock properly. The air conditioning didn’t work. They sent someone to take a look at the a/c and lock but he didn’t really do anything about it. I would have requested another room but my stay was short.

A Pleasant Experience

Pros: Room had a jacuzzi and lovely balcony overlooking the sea.
Cons: The decor is a bit dated. LOTS of bees by the outdoor bars.
Location: Scotchies Restaurant, Blue Hole Falls
Clean beach, friendly staff, clean rooms, not too crowded. Would definitely recommend. Note: DO NOT go to this resort if you have a bee allergy. There are a crazy amount of bees around the outside bar, and I got stung.

2nd stay at Jewel Dunn’s

Excellent adult only resort, it’s a smaller resort w great service and close to the ocean! Easy to meet other ppl and get to know the staff. They keep the resort in great condition and always have staff working to keep you entertained and served. This was our 2nd visit in 3 years, we will be back!

Food was okay but not great. The rooms are pretty nice. WiFi was very spotty. The beach area is pretty small. The Chukka excursion that you can book through the hotel was super fun and very close by so you do not waste most of your day on a bus. Huge plus! Overall, I would not go back although I did have a fun time.

Pros: Comfortable bed
Cons: Bee/pest control Airport transfer Food (quality and timing)
Location: Hotel is very isolated.
Lots of bees everywhere, food is terrible and not available 24/7, the airport transfer was 3 hours long. They say the airport transfer is free but it's in partnership with other hotels - you literally stop at 5-7 other hotels on the way there/back. The booze is all you can drink from an 8 oz cup - even the beer comes in an 8 oz plastic cup. Terrible.

Fantastic people

The staff at this resort are absolutely fantastic! We came here for our 25th anniversary and had a great time. The only disappointment was booked an ocean view room for something special on our anniversary and the room overlooked a roof below and had no clear view of the ocean. We would definitely come back to this resort but wouldn’t spend the extra on the room.
