wonderful hotel

Pros: THE STAFF WAS UNBELIVEABLE
Cons: it was a little bit dificult to find it with the GPS
Location: it located in a a hightech location
every thing was good in this hotel modern hotel good staff and 20 minutes from Lisbon

Tolles Hotel für Mietwagenurlauber

Pros: Frühstücksbuffet, Zimmer, freie Tiefgaragennutzung
Cons: Hinweis auf Poolnutzung ab 16 Jahren
Location: Zentral an der Autobahn A5 zw. Lissabon und Caiscais
... neu, sauber, große Zimmer, reichhaltiges Frühstücksbuffet mit sehr nettem Personal ..... ABER: die Pool-Nutzung ist erst ab 16 Jahren erlaubt, was unsere 7jährige Tochter sehr verärgerte. Diese Information ist nicht aus der Hotelbeschreibung ersichtlich!!! Wir wählten das Hotel u.a. wegen dem Pool. Und für die Erkundung der Umgebung ist ein Mietwagen erforderlich. Ansonsten ist das Hotel eine tolle Alternative zu den oft überteuerten Hotels von Caiscais oder Estoril.

Lo único malo de este hotel es que está en zona de oficinas, pero está muy bien. Como comentario diré, que deberían avisar que para el acceso al SPA es necesario gorro, o al menos, tener gorros suficientes de préstamo o venta. No pudimos acceder y disfrutar del SPA por no tener el material adecuado.

El hotel en general es genial, disponen de un servicio de transporte a la estacion de tren de Oeiras para ir a lisboa o cascais, asi no tienes que coger tu coche. El unico inconveniente es que a la piscina solo pueden acceder los mayores de 16 años.

Hotel magnífico con un personal muy amable. Alejado del centro. Se necesita el coche pero a solo 20 minutos de Lisboa o Cascais.

Comfortable hotel in quiet location.

Pros: Hotel is in a quiet location and provides a free shuttle service to station, beach and shops. Staff were very pleasant and spoke excellent English.
Cons: Hotel could provide some tourist pamphlets and timetables for the railway. Hot food could be presented in smaller trays on the hot plate.
Location: The hotel is based in a commercial complex and so little to do close by. There is a gym and one restaurant but this is closed at the weekend.
We chose this hotel because it was not in the main tourist areas and therefore quiet. Although it is not near to the beach or the main tourist attractions it does provide a free shuttle service to the beach, shops and railway station. The shuttle runs every 30 mins from early morning until late but the time slot you require has to be pre-booked as it only caters for a limited number of passengers for each run. It takes about 20 mins to the railway station and from there you can catch a train into downtown Lisbon (30mins) or to the towns along the coast such as Estoril or Cascais. We also travelled to Sintra via train and metro. Sintra is definitely worth a visit. The hotel was quite comfortable and very clean. Our room was fairly spacious and the ensuite had a good shower over the bath. The extensive buffet breakfast catered for both continental and full English but my only disappointment was that the hot food was rarely hot. Nevertheless there was a wide choice of fresh fruit, breads, ham, cheese, cereal etc. Our only real disappointment was the lack of local restaurants for evening meals. The hotel provides bar snacks and more substantial meals of an evening but these are served in the bar area which is a bit limited for this purpose. The hotel is based in a commercial complex and is really targeting business clientele but we found it very suitable for sight seeing around the Lisbon area. Definitely not for those travellers who wish to be based in the thick of things.
