The hotel is a cordial, entirely satisfactory (to us) lodging on I-90. The truck traffic was continuous but was no bother to us nor to the ducks on the lake 100 paces behind the parking area. Would be glad to stay again

We absolutely enjoyed our one night stay at this hotel. Staff were super friendly, good options for breakfast including bagels and yogurt. Clean room and rest rooms , comfortable bed.

The front of the building faces I-80, so if you’re a light sleeper pay the extra for a river view room. Otherwise, it’s a convenient stop when traveling I-80.

Friendly Check in and went to room. Room Was extremely cold. Heater was unplugged. Electrical outlet where heater would be plugged in was blackened as if there may have been an electrical short. Additionally there was an outside door to the room that was winterized (interior door handle removed). We were very uncomfortable with that. We Requested another room. Transferred to suite on 3rd floor that faces interstate 80. Was extremely noisy all night from trucks. Struggled to get any sleep. Bathroom sink had the warm water turned off for some reason. If you want to get any sleep, Don’t stay on the interstate side. Disappointing because we have stayed at other AmericINNs and have been very satisfied.

VERY clean & quiet. Only food within walking dist was a Mexican restaurant, & a truck stop and a McDonalds, Otherwise, excellent.

Walk in handicap shower that left half the floor wet. The highway sounded like it was in the same room. Noisy all night. Tight parking in the back only.

Very nice. Great value. A north side room would probably have been quieter. South side picked up I80 noise but not too bad. Will stay again.

Good value
Everything was great, only issue was the parking lot. There was icing and didn't appear to be any salt put down. Otherwise this is the best value in Ogallala for the dollar.

The back side parking lot has lots of extra activity going on, the Tesla charging people all are coming into the lobby and hanging out for 30 minutes. The owner has extra activities in renting out shipping containers and a weird house just 50 feet from the back of the hotel. There are also rental mini cabins with kennels for rent, the river front has no trespass signs.

Impeccable service
This hotel had the most charismatic and friendly evening clerk I think I have ever met in a hotel atmosphere. Wonderful young man who was all about the care of the customer. Bravo Americinn. That alone has warranted an excellent rating from me. The room was comfortable as well.
