Gorgeous old hotel

Posted Feb 24, 2017
Pros: I love the old architecture and large space in the room.
Cons: The restaurant at the top of the hotel was excellent and the one on the bottom floor was okay.
Location: Union Station museums and art galleries
The first and second stories of the hotel were built in the late 1800's and the rest of the levels were build or finished in the 1920's.

Beautiful building and comfortable stay

Posted Jan 25, 2017
Pros: the building is beautiful
Cons: the beds softer and less springy
Location: Really close to 25th street that has every restaurant you couldn't possibly want to go to.
other than the ice machines only being on a couple of floors and the beds being a little to springy this is a wonderful hotel and I would gladly stay here again.

Beautiful Hotel nestled in a small town. The entrance is welcoming and the view from all sides and floors is gorgeous. Walking distance to entertainment, food, church.

Nice hotel

Posted Nov 20, 2016
Pros: The restaurant on the 11th floor.
Cons: The breakfast buffet was not that good.
Our stay at the Ben Lomond hotel was nice. It is definitely an older hotel but was comfortable and clean. The restaurant on the 11th floor was excellent. The food was very good and it has a nice view of the city.

Great "Vintage" hotel - well maintained.

Posted Nov 8, 2016 on Hotels
This hotel was built in the early 1900's. It has been well maintained and has some vintage charm. If you don't mind riding the elevator each time you need to go out (I stayed on the 7th floor), you will most likely like staying here.

We were there for a reunion and the hotel was convenient and very accommodating. The only inconvenience was that they did not have a shuttle to and from the airport.

The lobby was great! Just like a movie hotel lobby. The room was beautiful! A sitting area, with a tv. A separate bedroom with 2 king size beds. A little area with a separate sink, coffee maker, microwave and fridge. It was very nice!
