The hotel stunk and was dirty.

The hotel stunk and our room was dirty and stunk as well. The door to the outside parking lot didn't latch so anyone could come in, and breakfast only goes until 9 and was very limited. There was a shady car in the parking lot with people sleeping and even after I told the staff, they did nothing. Never will stay again. Ever.

Hotel and rooms look nice but...

I would have rated this hotel higher if we had not encountered the following issues: room cards did not work most of the time, fridge stopped working so we had to switch rooms, the new room smelled really bad, the pool towels were not regularly stocked and the staff were never on the same page with what was going on. They were friendly and tried to make things better but they were also quick to shift blame to their coworkers.

Deserves higher rating

Pros: Rooms were clean, comfortable and fairly quiet, only interrupted by the honeymoon couple upstairs(multiple times). I won't complain. good for them.
Cons: put honeymooners on the first floor. That way bouncing beds won't keep up the guy below. Otherwise, I enjoyed my stay.
Location: Location was close to multiple restaurants and the Layton Hills Mall.
Hotel was in a convenient location only hindered by road construction. The quality of room was good and efforts had been made for safety with outside access by card only. Breakfast staff were nice and served a good continental breakfast. Hotel staff also very accommodating. .

We enjoyed our overnight stay at the Layton Comfort Inn. We liked the location of our room. It was close to the office and parking space (handicap). The breakfast was good, too.

Hotel is close to Freeway and shopping mall

Pros: Good breakfast selections and pleasant staff.
Hotel is showing that run down look with wallpaper coming off the shower wall, tub draining slow and vent fan not working. Upholstered chair and foot stool in room had stains on them. Washer and dryer machines for guests are on 2nd and 3rd floors. Second floor washing machine was not working and third floor dryer did not work. Terrible dead animal smell was present in the third floor washer/dryer room.

Wouldn't recommend.

No wifi in room. Even after we check at the front desk. Indoor pool was closed for cleaning. The treadmill belt was loose and T.V. didn't work. The shower was dirty and had mold growing on the ceiling corner.

We're sorry you were unhappy with your stay. We have added 4 more routers throughout the hotel as each room at the hotel is now receiveing great WIFI signals. We are in the process of putting new equipment for our gym.

Nice hotel with easy access to I-15

Pros: Had a room facing away from highway. Clean, good breakfast.
A great place for a quick stopover while travelling north on the I-15.

Weekend getaway

Room that was assigned to us felt dirty unfinished ,no hair dryer, smoke detector was covered in plastic, it WAS GROSS! ! CALLED FRONT desk and got a different room, to small of space for 4 people. BEDS WERE HORRIBLE VERY HARD AND UNCOMFORTABLE , won't stay here again.
