close to beach and clean a little noisy to sleep at night.Walls not sound proof.

No outdoor pool

It would have been nice to know that the outdoor pool was under construction before we booked. Instead we got a notice after arriving and finding the pool empty saying we can't get a refund if we cancel because the pools or hot tubs aren't working. The indoor pool was available but so cloudy you couldn't see the bottom. The room was clean and I'm hopeful it will be really nice once repairs are done.

The location was great. Rooms were clean but the complex needs to be updated.

Large quiet, clean room with kitchenette & living area with sofa/ tv Indoor heated pool (small) with changing room/ shower/ bathroom. Breakfast included eggs, fruit, cereal, pastry, coffee & tea. Bikes & kayaks are not available until late June. River views were nice, owners were pleasant & very helpful with any issues.

Location: Location was awesome.
Call before you book. I made the mistake of not calling to see if the indoor pool and hot tub were available as advertised. They were both out of service and we were very disappointed. This was our back up plan for in-climate weather, needless to say the weather was bad.

My wife and I made arrangements for a late arrival at this hotel. When we arrived (11:45), our keys were in an envelope on the door as promised. At 1:30 AM we were both awakened to a loud mechanical battering noise coming from the Heating/AC unit - it was incredibly loud! We changed settings on the unit in an attempt to resolve the noise and when all options were used we turned it off. Fortunately there was a 4 top range in the kitchen area so we set all 4 on low…however only 2 worked. We made the decision to leave the burners on and try to catch a couple of hours of sleep. Sleep eventually would evaded us because of the Heating/AC unit in the room next to us, which every 15 minutes, would turn on and the loud clanging would start again. I notified the front desk clerk that we would be canceling our stay that morning as we were unable to sleep and had virtually no heat…he suggested another room and we agreed to stay the next two nights. We were given a lesser value room (at the same cost of our room with a kitchen) I will leave all other assumptions up to you...regarding the hotel. HOTELS.COM is another story! I contacted them when we returned home and they made things right! Thanks DIANNE for resolving everything in the online chat! - Christopher

Thank you for staying with us and we are sorry for the inconvenience caused. You had originally booked a room with one queen bed and when we heard about the noise from out heat-a/c unit we immediately moved you into a room with 2 queen beds. The room you were moved in was a bigger room and also had the distant ocean view. That particular room is more than what your original room with 1 queen bed was. We did not charge you the difference due to the noise from our a/c unit. We once again apologize for the inconvenience caused. Regards, Management
