Closely located with main station

Posted Jan 12, 2017
Pros: The location
Cons: The rooms can be bigger but I guess that's not possible.
The hotel was a 10 minutes walk from Beppu station and was near the beach. Although there was no beach view from the hotel but its location was superb. The neighborhood was good. The room was small as compared with other countries but I realized that it was a norm in Japan. Almost everything was provided by the hotel. It also had Spa facility which was good.

Great breakfast, comfortable rooms

Posted Nov 27, 2016
This is a basic hotel, with a good bath and serves tasty breakfast. The only drawback is there isn't much happening around the hotel itself - but just enjoy the Onsen which is what the town is famed for. There is a bus line from the hotel to the Onsen spots, which makes it ultra convenient.

Average hotel

Posted Nov 11, 2016
Pros: The location was the best part. The breakfast was convenient and reasonably priced.
Cons: The room was very hot and stuffy. The thermostat could not be adjusted, so the window had to be opened as soon as you enter. The bathroom was not only too small, there was no way to shower without getting water all over the floor.
Location: Walking distance to the station and waterfront Lots of stores and restaurants nearby. Easy to get on buses that take you to the local attractions.

Clean hotel with hotbath facilities

Posted Oct 20, 2016
Clean boutique hotel with decent size rooms (by jap standards) and with carpark. The hotbath facilities was additional touch and good after a day of activities. We checked in later than expected and called hotel and got polite response and they wait for us. Overall good stay.

Good option for a quick stay in Beppu

Posted Oct 8, 2016
Pros: The onsen and location.
Cons: The rooms are very small.
Location: Since it's walking distance to the main JR station - everything else can be done too, as buses up the hillside to the many "hells" are frequent.
The rooms are small, so an upgrade for the extra square footage is worth it even for short spells spent in the room. The onsen was hot and as expected, and if you want to eat the most fabulous meal in Beppu, literally kitty-corner from the hotel is the Toyotsune. There's a shopping mall across the street if you're into shopping, and the walk from the train station was interesting, with several little alleys of shops to get happily distracted by. One staff member misled us and told us the onsen was shut all day - when it clearly wasn't ...but other than her, all other staff were most helpful and patient. Breakfast was good enough.

Close to the Sea, Nice Location

Posted Aug 14, 2016
Pros: Staff, very nice and helpful. Hot Spring, clean and tidy.
Location: MUST TRY: Traditional Sand Spa nearby - around 5 minutes of walk.
About 10 minutes from Beppu Station. It's located near the sea and it's a nice spot. There are convenient stores and restaurants nearby, as well as shopping mall, shopping street, and Starbucks! It's close to the beach so you can walk to the beach too. The hot spring facility is very nice! Breakfast was nice too!

Nice location

Hotel is walking distance from JR Beppu station. Easy access to shops & eatery. Most important is onsen facilities within the hotel. Well managed and clean. Beside the hotel lobby, there is travel counter managed by Beppu bus operators. Easy to get bus tickets to Yufuin / Oita. Definately value for money. Room size wise, I would rated as Japanese hotel standard (perfect for single/ max 2 pax)
