It felt very bare—hallways were dimly lit, the floor was wavy/buckled in places. Very cold/sterile room with the hard floors and empty space. I felt like I was in a bathroom instead of a hotel room. It smelled of weed in the hallways. But clean, convenient to our destination, and inexpensive. Glad to hear that they are getting rid of the paper form at check-in that needed to be initiated in 10 different places.

Adequate for short stay.
Hotel convenient, price was fair, staff good. I was a little bothered by the smell of marijuana in the hallways in a hotel that is supposed to be no smoking. Also, kitchen was provided but no kitchen amenities which I would’ve had to bring with me in order to cook anything.

I have read the reviews and I didn't smell any smoke in the hallways. The whole place was clean including the hallways. We stayed a second night. Wish they had dishes to use since it's a extended stay but that would not stop me from staying here again...but a breakfast of some sorts would be nice other extended stays have them and that's the reason for not giving al 5 stars

Relaxing Stay
My stay at this hotel was great! It was a personal trip of rest and relaxation for myself. I experienced a very relaxing trip and this hotel definitely accommodated my needs during my trip. I appreciate the staff and comfort provided while on my mini-vacation. I would recommend this hotel to my friends and family visiting the Lansing area.

Samer was great about my key repeatedly not working. Wish I had video of him using his door tool to open my door. There should be some utensils if the kitchenette has a two burner stove and a full size refrigerator.

I'd like to preface this with a thank you for the staff. I really didn't have much interaction with the workers there, since I checked in in the evening went right to sleep then left. However, the limited interaction I received from the front desk when I checked in and when I checked out was pleasant. I'm usually suspicious about the cleanliness, or lack thereof, of a hotel considering the notorious reputation hotels have. Regretfully, my experience here confirmed my suspicions. Perhaps some of my comments may fall under the category of "the condition of the room," but I will just lump it all together as "cleanliness". There was hair in the bed, on the floor, and in the bathroom when I expected the room. I have short hair. So, the long strands of hair were clearly not mine.There were some strange stains in the bathroom mostly in and around the bathtub (mostly looking like rust or maybe mildew). The smell in the hallway was not disgusting but unsettling. However, the room smelled fine. The aesthetic of the room was good, but there were some sloppy work done in some places, which is not a big deal but still something that subtracted from the comfortability of the stay. Frankly, none of these things are something that will discourage me from staying here again. In fact, when I have business in the area, I will likely come here again. If my wife comes with me, maybe not... With all this being said, I think your front desk staff was the redeeming quality.
