Very good hotel, nice part of town.

Plus: Hotel is just off I35, entrance is for 2 hotels but is not clearly marked. That's probably due more to local ordinance than hotel choice. It's the first left turn when you exit the freeway going west. Lobby, hall, room carpets are all clean and well maintained. No mysterious stains. Room is quiet, at least it was for us. Room air temperature is controlled by a thermostat. Fan is loud enough to provide white noise, but not so loud as to be obnoxious. TV reception was very good, usual selection of hotel channels. Default was the Weather Channel, which is great for this part of the world. Hotel employees (front desk and others) were very courteous and helpful. There is a small "essentials" area (think vending machine contents, but on a shelf), well stocked with reasonable prices, especially for a h/motel. Shopping in the area is good, including restaurants and general merchandise. Most of the latter were of the Walmart/Kohl's/Catherine's/Marshal's types. Macy's and others were further away, but within 20 minutes or so. Edmond is a moderately upscale college town. We would stay in this hotel again.
Minus: Phone didn't work (fixed the day we reported it), only one bottle of shampoo and of conditioner (two people staying multiple days, should have been at least two bottles of each.). Only four towels, they could have been softer, facial tissue dispenser had maybe 7 sheets and was never replaced (we didn't report this, but it it should have been noticed).
