Meh not the Hampton I'm used too

Beds felt like motel 6 and ac unit smelled so bad we couldn't run it. Mattresses were aweful which really surprised me since hamptons usually have good beds but apparently this one didn't.

Unpleasant Stay

Cons: Service, amenities and temperature regulations..
Location: Mall and plenty of restaurants nearby
Staff was not inviting and helpful. They would not accommodate a early check in or late check out. We asked for a Noon checkout due to timing of the end of our recent and were told No. We also arrived in tow earlier than expected and they would not allow us to check in an hour early either. One ice machine for entire hotel, which was empty and we had to a gas station down the street to get some. Humidity in the hotel is a big problem. Our room was so humid that you wake up to condensation on laptops and clothes that were left on desk or anywhere close to AC unit. Finally, at 10:30pm they were allowing a Band to play in the pool area!!! Seriously!

My only complaint is that, on Saturday evening, I needed to ask the front desk person a question, and she was nowhere to be found; the name of the individual was listed on the wall, I waited nearly 15 minutes, called out from the desk toward the back 2-3 times, but no response. Oh well. . . .

The manager at the front desk was very rude. The A/C barely worked. Mold grew in the tub. Very little water pressure. Barely hot water. Couldn't rent a movie. Pool water wasn't maintained correctly. Breakfast and serving staff were great. Liked the location.

This was a very nice hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Clean rooms and building. Beds were not very comfortable but other than that, it was an overall great place to stay.
