Nice hotel close to I 40

When you are tired and traveling it's good to find hotels close to your route. This one was easy off easy on. It was close to shopping and restaurants.

Clean hotel, friendly staff

We've stayed here several times when coming to visit family. Staff is always friendly, the rooms are always clean. It's close to several eateries and the shipping mall. I would recommend it to others.

Nice place to stay

Room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good. Hotel was close to good shopping area and restaurants.

Worst Holiday Inn of any type I've ever stayed at.

Pros: The biscuits and gravy
Cons: Everything but the biscuits and gravy
Location: There's a Wal-Mart across the street and other shopping nearby. OBU isn't far away either. Other hotels are surely somewhere near there as well.
I could take the incredibly slow elevator, the non-working TV, the slight soap scum in the tub, and the two dead crickets in the bathroom, but when the cockroach ran across the toilet stool that was it for me. I should have had a clue from the filthy carpeting I guess. Stay clear of this hotel. I know I"ll be staying somewhere else next time on my next trip to Shawnee.

I am very sorry that you did not have a great stay. We do have the hotel sprayed monthly for the crickets and other insects. And we have had the carpets cleaned. Hope that you will give us another chance.

Convenient but in need of work

Dead crickets in the lobby and hallways... In need of updating to remove the odor of past smoking allowed in hotel... Room was clean, shower was nice, hotel clerk it the desk very nice. I personally would never stay there again because of the smell in the hotel and the dead insects

Hotel next to all the shopping and resturants!

Had a great visit the only disappointment was no hot tub it was broken. Also the toilet kept running. But all in all clean and very comfortable. Staff was extremely friendly!

Nice hotel...close to food and shopping.

The only reason I gave this hotel 4 stars instead of 5 is due to their elevators being out of service at this time. The continental breakfast, hotel staff, room, and location of the hotel were great.

No elevator, broken coffee maker, tv did not work

Both my wife and I are in our middle 70s and were placed on the 4th floor with no elevator and they would not change our room. We could leave but we had paid through Expedia and could not get a refund and find another place. We will never use this again because Expedia should have known that the elevator was out and could warn the people using their service. The elevator had been out for some time. We deserve a refund.

Very sorry that you where put on the 4th floor. We have been trying really hard to keep some lower floor rooms for our guest that has a hard time getting up the stairs.
