Great Location for Bricktown activities

Posted Aug 10, 2016
Pros: Location, pet friendly, housekeeping staff - always spoke to you whenever passing in hallway, clean pool area, basketball court.
Cons: Parking and a vary of meat selection for the breakfast-
Location: Nice area for eating - whether you're looking for a fun filled restaurant or fast food- all within walking distance. Horse drawn carriage rides- canal
The check in was quick, although the desk clerk wasn't overly friendly. The parking was a little tricky, because of it being so close to the Bricktown area, but they had other options available as to where to park. Our room was very nice and roomy with a nice view of the canal. The room wasn't 100% clean- we did notice a used wash cloth under the sink area, but it could have been an oversight because of where it was located. Housekeeping had to bring up some more bedding and towels for us, because we reserved our room for 6, but only had 4 towels and 1 wash cloth upon arrival and nothing to cover up with on the sofa sleeper. The pad for the sofa sleeper was well worn down and we ended up purchasing an air mattress after the first night. The housekeeping staff is very friendly and provide speedy service. Nice places for walking your dog and walkways. The breakfast area is set up very helpful and a full breakfast was provided. The outdoor spa wasn't in operation, but the indoor spa was and a nice welcome after a day of walking and sightseeing. The pool was a saltwater pool and very clean and roomy for several families to enjoy. Lots of places to sit and relax. The grounds were well kept. We were at the end of the hallway, but a very quiet room. Overall very nice place to stay with a large family and pets.

Comfortable hotel near things to do

Posted May 7, 2016
Location: In the middle of beautiful Bricktown. Excellent restaurants, shops. Baseball field is right there. Got a chance to taste some excellent wines
We stayed for only 1 night, but we wish that it had been longer. The hotel was easy to get to and very comfortable Beds were comfortable (big deal) and the food was excellent. Loved it. Will stay there whenever we are in Oklahoma City

Marriott Residence Inn

Posted May 4, 2016 on Hotels
We wanted to be near the canal and within easy walking distance of restaurants along with short driving distance from other main areas of the city. Our hotel provided free breakfast but had no food facilities on site or bar. The breakfast was good with several choices. They did have some small items in their market area. We also had a refrigerator so were able to buy groceries to have eat in options at the small table provided. The suite was nicely furnished and had comfortable furniture and a nice bed. Our room had two very large windows overlooking the canal. We found there was a lot of activity further down the canal but our hotel was on the quiet end. While there were many places to eat, most were casual. We found many more within a very short drive. We also enjoyed the beauty of green lush garden areas all with steps of the hotel. Overall, we would definitely come back.

Nice location with easy access.

Cons: I found only one thing and this happens in most places. Salt and Pepper shakers in the Breakfast area should be cleaned off before putting on tables.
Nice location with walking distance to downtown and restuarants. Rooms were great with a good breakfast.
