The beautiful Bricktown Canal from Zio's Italian Restaurant. This is the worlds tallest slide. The Boathouse District is not finished yet but when it is it's likely going to be Oklahoma's key attraction for summer fun. Read more below as listed on their website.
If you’re looking for fun things to do in Oklahoma City, the Boathouse District offers some of OKC’s top attractions. Get on the water with rowing, kayaking, dragon boating or stand up paddle boarding. Reach for the sky with RIVERSPORT Adventures where you’ll find the 700-foot SandRidge Sky Zip across the Oklahoma River, the six-story SandRidge Sky Trail, the 80-ft Rumble Drop free fall, a high speed spiral slide and more!
Located in the heart of Oklahoma City, the Boathouse District also offers the city’s most unique event spaces for corporate events, parties and picnics. Make your event even more memorable when you add team building or dragon boating. Whenever you visit the river, watch for the Olympic hopefuls in rowing and canoe/kayak training on the Oklahoma River, an official U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Training Site. If you're traveling through Oklahoma City, be sure and stop downtown and check out the Canal! Lots of things do do and plenty of good places to eat, and great music venues. Heart-wrenching but necessary to remember and honor those who lost their lives, the survivors and the first responders. Give yourself plenty of time to take it all in. #NationalPark Always a beautiful walk, and is now connected to the Oklahoma River, many miles of trail! Sad 9:03 when the healing began 9:02 is the pool when time stopped and 9:01 the last minute of innocence. A sad site the healing continues. #memorial #oklahomacitybomboming Blood Moon
