“It was a huge breakfast with lots of options, hot and cold. Hot breakfast was made to order. Even though we had early morning excursions and an even earlier morning departure David was up and ready to serve whatever we wanted. David also took the time to help us choose excursions that were perfect for us. When my husband left his phone in the van on one of our trips David went and picked it up for us. Could not ask for better service. ”

“A lovely establishment right at the center of everything, beach restaurants, bars and shops. Nelly at reception and her coworkers were absolutely kind and helpful. They booked my transfers, activities and had great recommendations of places to eat etc. I was room 21, just over the bar. Room is spacious and beautifully decorated. “A very old and worn-out building. Musty smell. Wobbly floorboards. No air-con. I was hassled twice to move my motorcycle to an inadequate parking place, even though I had booked an apartment with parking. The receptionist behaved a bit oddly, putting pressure on me to but her a drink, which was uncomfortable. I booked two days, but left after one. In quite a good location to walk along the sea front. Swakopmund is a nice town.”

“What an amazing place and the mgt. was so kind and considerate. I went back twice on my return and was in a bind as I was driving late at night. The mgt. helped organize a room through security since they were not on site due to my timing. So helpful and when mingling with guests there was only a positive vibe (both times).”

“I have paid for the hostel but didn't realize that they don't have reception or anyone working after 8pm. I rang the door bell and called multiple times when I arrived but nobody answered. I couldn't check in and had to book another place last minute. I asked if I could get a credit for the night but they still charged me and wouldn't refund me for the booking and said it was my fault because I didn't notify them that I'll arrive after 8pm.
