Hotel close to the Nu Mall and KL Sentral

Pros: Location, price and convenience.
Cons: Better wi-fi (stronger signal and secure connection), provide basic toiletries like toothbrush, toothpaste, etc. AC needs to be stronger, KL is hot.
Location: Close proximity to a big selection of food, easy access to trains and a huge shopping mall.
Booked this hotel for the Malaysian F1 weekend because it is near the KL Sentral train line that goes to the airport/track. The staff are friendly and fine; the hotel is rather beat up. The carpet on the corridors are dirty, the air-conditioning is weak most of the time, the wi-fi (a public one, no security) is quite poor, with my ipad (rather new one), it is very difficult to log on it, even if you do, it is so slow that it is quite useless. With mobile phone, it is a little bit better but still unreliable. Having said that, it is a budget hotel and it gives you the bare essentials for a stay in the city (beware that there is no toothbrush or any toothpaste or comb, etc). The surrounding area is mostly inhabited by Indians so there are many Indian restaurants, hawkers and street food. There is also a 7-11 across the street. Overall, you get what you pay for.

Old and bad location, need to remodel. The lobby has very cheap smell

A short business trip to Jakarta

First time staying at this hotel in Jakarta. Impressed with Front Desk service, fast in checking in. Hotel room is clean, cozy and bed is very comfortable for a good night rest. Will definitely come back again for my next visit.

My room was on 5th floor facing Main Street which was very noisy most of times because of loud music voices from restaurants on the Main Street. Also, AC was not cold, otherwise, the hotel is nice and convenient.
