“I have no idea how the room was because they wouldn’t let us in it even though we paid for it until check out. I understand that we paid through a booking site rather than directly with them but if I notified them that I would arrive after staff left for the the night and not sure how late, I’m not sure how it is okay for them to mark us as a NO SHOW when we showed up extremely late but DID show up before check out. We ran into an emergency and were relying on the 2 hours we had left to take……

“We booked this last minute at a premium price to be able to stay in downtown Newport. It was not worth it. It was run down and needs a complete remodel. Our bathroom tub had a crack in the center, there were stink bugs crawling on the iron, and the entire room was in need of a very deep clean. The breakfast was good, but you had to put in your order the night before, and had to reserve an exact time to eat. Parking was terrible, too. We paid way too much money for what we got. Do yourself……
