Not a 4.5 star hotel.

Pros: The location and the breakfast.
Cons: Remove 1-1.5 stars or build bigger less strained rooms, buy some new towels.
For a 3 star hotel it would have been pretty good, but 4.5 stars it was very disappointing. Our room was the size of a shoe box. The TV in our room was at a 45 degree angle from our bed, meaning we could only watch it if we laid sideways. Our small window view was onto a brick wall, even during the day it was dark. Our towels were fairly worn and cleaning was brisk. It was hard to tell if the cleaning had been done or not. The breakfast was good, one of the highlights. We decided to stay here because it was not a big chain but it was the same price with an extra half star. This was a mistake.

great location. good breakfast buffet but dining space was so small that during breakfast it felt too crowded and hectic. rooms was not as big as expected.

Nice and comfortable hotel very close to old town

Pros: Definitely the location. It was very close to everything and a small store and ATM were close there.
Cons: The management with lost property is a disaster. As soon you left the hotel, they do not care at all for the former guests.
The stay in the hotel was nice and everything was good. Nice breakfast, clean rooms. I was a bit confused that at the check-in they charged you one Euro to figure out if your credit card works. If they do it with all clients this way, it is a nice way to get some extra money.

Great spot for visitors to Old Town

The location is perfect, steps from Olde Towne. Very safe area, very easy to find, very easy to get a cab. The room was clean, well-appointed and spacious. The service was outstanding. I have only one suggestion for improvement, and that is firmer pillows. The pillows are massive, but they give no support. I had to mash three together for it to feel like I had a pillow at all. I would recommend this hotel to Riga visitors without hesitation.

If you have to go to Riga, this is a good hotel

This hotel does pretty well, if what they set out for you is exactly what you need. We asked for an additional luggage rack, and they said they only had one per room. We stayed for two nights, so they had set out two of every toiletry, and they did not replace anything the next day. Breakfast was included, and it was fairly extensive. The staff kept the tables cleared and the food dishes filled. The building has very thick walls and high quality windows, but the street sounds like NYC, so I still needed earplugs!

Great hotel in Old Town Riga

Great hotel - very convenient for exploring Riga's Old Town and Jugendstil quarter. It is also very professionally run, with clean and comfortable rooms, fast wiFi and a great buffet breakfast with a range of choices ranging from continental to cold meats and salads. I had an excellent night's sleep in a quiet room with a great bed.

Room and breakfast.

Rooms was very small and window view was terrible. We paid 20 euro per room to get better room. And when we did so was we so happy- better room with the view!! Breakfast was just bad, difficult to found words for breakfast. But area near to hotel is amazing. And room service was great- we ordered burger with the beer.
