Great place to stay!

Posted Aug 31, 2017
Excellent place to stay, very close to the Royal Mile (like, not even half a block). It was great to have a kitchen and laundry in the room (although, for people from North America, note that the laundry is not what we're used to!). Highly recommend.

Holyrood Aparthotel - a great choice for us

Posted Aug 27, 2017
Pros: The location was excellent - near to Royal Mile. Clean and wonderful choice for a family of four: two bedrooms, two bathrooms, kitchen, sitting room.
Cons: My children did say that their bathroom had a funny smell so they ended up showering in the other bathroom - this was their perception, not mine.
Location: Very close to the Royal Mile, lots of shops/restaurants. Close to Arthur's Seat.
The receptionists were very nice and helpful (booked us a cab for our first trip into town since we had an appointment and needed to get their quickly). Everything was clean and welcoming and well organized.

Nice hotel just off the Royal Mile

Posted Aug 24, 2017
Nice apartment style hotel. Had a nice cleanly equipped kitchen area with a spacious room and bathroom. A good location about halfway down the royal mile between the castle and Holyrood Palace but a little off the main strip.

Close to Tesco grocery store, has stove and dishwasher. Washer and dryer for clothes. Close to Holyrood Castle and church with music recitals. A welcome break from hotels and restaurant. Very pleasant staff.

Nice & clean-close to everything

Posted Aug 18, 2017
The room was clean & comfortable. The location was perfect. Very close to the Palce & Arthur's seat. A short walk to the castle. We were able to walk everywhere. Staff was helpful & provided us a map of the city, which proved very useful!

Great Apartment, Great Location

Posted Aug 16, 2017
The apartment was in a perfect location, just off the High Street, therefore close to the centre. It was well equipped with all the facilities that you would expect from an apartment plus fresh milk for the tea and coffee that was provided. It was clean, with fresh towels daily and had a friendly and informative receptionist. I would definitely recommend Holyrood Aparthotel.

Good size but lack of informatio

Posted Aug 9, 2017
Pros: Size and price
Cons: Clearer Instructions on how to use appliances
Location: At the bottom end of the Royal Mile with a Tesco around the corner. Very close to Arthurs seat
The room has a large bedroom with a seperate kitchen and bathroom so plenty of room. The kitchen has basic supplies, and includes a dishwasher and microwave. There is a combined washer/dryer in the room which was very handy - however - the lack of information on how to use the machine was very frustrating. Only a few pages of the instructions were included so you basically had to guess how to use it - which had negative repercussions for us! The location is at the bottom of the Royal Mile (Hollyrood end) which is not perfectly central but ok if you don't mind walking (20 mins to the other end) . There is a Tesco around the corner to pick up supplies. Arthur's Seat is also very close - great for a walk on a fine day
