Ideal!

The perfect base to explore the Christmas markets. Close to the main market areas, cathedral and train station. Hotel was very clean and the staff super helpful, we opted out of breakfast as it was very expensive (€27 each) but lots of cafes nearby.

Well located hotel

Cons: room size
Location: Near the Cathedral and Museums
Very handy for the sights, staff very helpful, Room small, shower only but adequate for a couple of nights.

Good location

Standard rooms look into a void Feels like a jail when looking out The hotel needs to inform patrons this is the case ..... kind of a ripoff if one books and the website features views of the Dom in all its offerings The entrance is blocked with civil works very uninviting 6/10 rating

Ideal for central location

Pros: Great location and friendly staff
Cons: Better signage for the entrance to the hotel from the road
Great hotel with friendly staff. The rooms are small but comfortable.The location is ideal with a five minute walk to the Station, Cathedral, river and two of the Christmas Markets and 30minute walk to two others. Breakfast is expensive, but some of the restaurants by the river serve good breakfasts at a reasonable price. Only one problem; the Christmas decorations outside the hotel covered up the name making it difficult to fine the hotel. We walked past it three times until a helpful local pointed it out to us..

Lovely hotel so close to the Christmas market.

Super room, most comfortable bed and after having back trouble this is very important. A great walk in shower and no complaints at all.

Great hotel to stay in if you want to be near the train station. It's convenient , well priced , modern, and clean, but the rooms are minimal .

Nice clean hotel near the Cologne Dome

Great location. Nice set-up. Quiet side-street room literally silent with insulated window closed. Modern hotel but not overly hip, however, and was surprise at how many older couples were staying there. Was wondering if it may have been past it's prime. But all in all, a solid clean well-situated hotel and front desk very helpful & profesisonal.

There is construction outside the entrance which was not indicated in the hotel information. It's difficult to carry the baggage.
