Nice hotel close to city centre

Easy walk to old city centre & to harbour area. Antwerp is a delightful city to explore. Rather lumpy pillows!

Good hotel, great location

Posted May 13, 2017 on Hotels
We enjoyed our stay in this hotel. Its location was great for us, near enough to the Old Town area to walkk there easily, but not overrun with tour groups. The room was a bit small, but I assume that would be the case for most hotels in a medium price range. We wanted a quiet, unobtrustive hotel, and it was fine in that regard.

Clean hotel with friendly staff. Located in a good location, close to shops and restaurants, but also closeness to the university and was quite noisy at night if you room is on the street. Breakfast was simple and appetizing. Overall, a very enjoyable stay.

Quiet and close to the old town

Great in terms of being quiet and a short walk to both the old town and the station. Breakfast was underwhelming, and the service was patchy.

Great location, near old city centre and University, large quiet room, clean, and at a good price.

Good location and nice staff the saving grace

Posted Dec 10, 2015
Pros: Location
Cons: Cleanliness
The location of this hotel is good, short distance to the historical walk. The staff were very friendly. Unfortunately the room was not up to scratch. It was clean, but a little rundown and had problems with the lights. The room had a strange smell, but this dissipated eventually.

Quiet with basic amenities

It's very quiet, convent-like or cloister atmosphere. Very close to historic center, 2 blocks from the shopping avenue Meir, walk to Antwerp Central station. It's an old building and you enter a courtyard that makes it feel stately. Breakfast is served and there's wifi! Will go back here again if there's an opportunity.

Walking distance to old town, ideally located. Friendly staff and good breakfast.
