All made easy and enjoyable by hotel staff. Nearby restaurants were terrific, especially Café Delitas--great food and on Saturday wonderful Colombian music with a darling sprite who danced to the rhythms. Museums interesting. Hotel breakfasts were wonderful--fresh eggs, fruit, café--yum.

The rooms are clean and comfortable with everything you need and it all works. The staff are very helpful and will arrange tours, taxis etc. They make a point of being very quiet in the morning which was a pleasant surprise. I'll go back when I return to Bogota.

Loved the area - though at high altitude, the hill leading up to the hotel had us huffing & puffing as we walked up! The staff was great, though oddly stingy about extra towels. Very friendly, though, and sociable!

I just spent a week in Bogota and stayed in the La Candelaria district. The Hotel Dann is centrally located and walking distance to all the museums and even Monserrate. Public transist is near by. Around the corner from the hotel, Carrera 7, is closed to auto traffic and local street musicians and artist use this street as a venue to show off their talent. There are also street vendors and plenty of restaurants. The hotel and rooms are nice and clean. There is an in room safe. The security is good as you have to have a valid key to use the elevator. A full breakfast is included with the room. You can have the eggs cooked the way you like and a compliment your eggs with an arrangement of local side dishes. There is free wifi throughout the hotel. Remember one password per device. There is an airport shuttle that you need to arrange with the hotel. It is 25,000 pesos (about $9 usd). The staff was very friendly and helpful, but mainly Spanish speaking. There are a few staff members who speak English. I found it impressive that the staff members all not only remembered my name, but also my room number. On this trip we had a small problem with the shower plumbing and immediately was moved to another room. I would definitely stay her again if my travels bring me back to Bogota.
