We arrived early Saturday 11/27/23 and the receptionist was not very friendly and the amenities at the hotel was not to Hilton standard. I am a hilton honors member and have stayed at several hilton hotels and this was my least favorite. The hotel did not have much for snacks and charged for coffee in the lobby!! The breakfast was not free and was very confusing. The hotel was clean so I will give them 4 stars for that but the customer service made the stay unpleasant.

The hotel carpets were very dirty and worn out. It made the whole place look bad. The decor also needed updating. Housekeeping only serviced our room once in 4 days we stayed. Bed was not comfortable - disappointing compared to other Hilton Gardens we have stayed at.

Excellent Hotel in a great location. Clean and modern amenities. My only suggestion would be to ventilate the 1st floor better during breakfast. I felt like I smelt like fried food after walking through the lobby.

Easily THE Best Staff Service EVER!
Honestly, I don't even know how to describe just how AMAZING all the staff at the Hilton garden were! It began with the young man who checked me in. Suuuuuuper sweet, funny, professional, and efficient. (I didn't catch his name, but he mentioned he wasgoing on vacation to Amsterdam soon.) Then the housekeeper, Lacey. She stopped by on my first full day at the hotel to introduce herself and let me know to reach out to her if I needed anything at all. She always kept my room super tidy and clean--without ever being intrusive. Finally, there was Miss Kathy in the restaurant. My goodness, what an incredibly sweet, dedicated woman! So friendly, so caring, so efficient at getting coffee and breakfast out to me in the timeliest manner EVER! And did I mention just how sweet she was?! 💜

Check in was disappointing- we did arrove early. While i didn’t necessarily expect a room to be available- the reaction of the front desk was pretty sub par. She literally took a step back from the desk as if all hands were off. I inquired whether it was posdibld to do s light check in where my arrival is acknowledged and be called when our room is available. Was told they dont do that and basically sent away. Wjen i arrived atround 3pm the process was fine, toom was ready however was not providing any info regarding any of the amenities, wifi access, etc. Ive been to beach motels that provided a better check in experience. With that said, hotel property is clean, area is quiet, plenty of parking.

There is no manager named Gary, however the manager that you did speak with was merely requiring that the ID of the person obtaining keys to the room matched the name on the room, which is standard operating procedure for safety and security in all hotels

Wrong time/wrong place!
Immediately upon entering ,I found myself in the midst of 20-30 elementary age kids playing street hockey in the lobby.I waited in the chaos for 15 minutes or so for a desk clerk.If my reservation hadn't been non-refundable ,I would have left.On 1st try my keycard wouldn't open the room so I had to go back down to the madhouse in the lobby.In evey hall and on ever floor they were more yelling,screaming kids.I'm guessing Memorial Day weekend is NOT the time to visit Oldsmar.Thankfully around 9:30 they all wound down and it became realatively peaceful.On a positive note ,the room itself ,though somewhat sparse,was adequate.Wifi was sufficient but the TV system is very difficult to work your way thru.
