I stayed at the Quest New Quay as I had an early morning appointment in the Docklands precinct. I did receive an upgrade which was nice but a bit of a waste as having a two bed apartment really wasn’t of any extra value to me. The apartment has a kitchen which would be great if it was a longer visit but I am very puzzled as to who designed it as having a microwave at floor level is very strange. The bathroom has both a washing machine and dryer and a good size shower. My only comment is that it had a musty unfresh smell so maybe the vents need a clean. Both bedrooms were the same size and I found my bed to be comfortable. Both bedrooms have sliding doors onto a very small balcony but unfortunately my view was of the building across the street.

The staff were very helpful and the location is great.
Unfortunately our room seemed very run down.
Everything was broken very old or just very worn.
The aircon only worked for about an hr at a time. We had the service guy there three times but eventually gave up.
Not what you expect from the penthouse.

Room had complimentary tea, coffee, and bottled water. A good size room with large towels and nice washroom and shower. Close to where we needed to be near St Kilda. Lots of street parking around.

The apartment was clean and tidy and sufficient for our 3 night stay. It had everything we needed and more. The location is very central and walkable throughout the CBD. There are also tram stops nearby within the free zone. Check in after hours instructions were clear and easy to follow. We could also leave our luggage after check out to do more exploring.
Unfortunately the wifi was terrible. It was very slow (speed test was showing up to 2Mbps download speed) and basically unresponsive. It could be due to the location of our room and that we weren’t getting any signal. I did mention this to the front desk but they weren’t able to help. Luckily we had a large mobile data plan so we just used that instead.
