I was expecting an exceptional experience for this price. The hotel looked charming. But there were two serious problems with my stay. The Wi-Fi was so undependable that they may as well not have bothered. I had a lot of work that I wanted to accomplish each morning and I had to put all of it off. I even tried moving to the lobby instead of my room but that made no difference. The other problem was that I woke up at four the first morning and there was no AC. The fan was still on but the room was heating up. I asked about it later and was told that the AC turns off every morning so they can clean the rooms. I replied that no one was cleaning any rooms at 4 a.m. I suspect that they had set their clock to the wrong time. Nevertheless, the AC turned off every morning I was there and turned back on in the afternoon. Spain was experiencing a severe heat wave at this time so this diminished the comfort that could have been afforded.

A night in Olite.
Warm,friendly and comfortable small family run hotel. If I need to be critical perhaps the room was a little small but we had expected that and it didn’t cause us any problems. The restaurant wasn’t too shabby either and I would recommend you give it a try, I’m sure you wouldn’t be disappointed.

Room was very comfortable and welcoming. We highly recommend it. Right in the middle of old town and near the castle. The attached restaurant is also very nice. Parkng is outside of the old city in city lot. A consideration for those with disabilities---ask if there is a lift. We did not see one. There are several flights of stairs to haul up luggage.

Good hotel. Average food.
Room was good as was breakfast. Decided to stay for dinner but was very disappointed. We had the set course meal. I had the duck which was so greasy I couldn't eat it.

Excellent location, restful stay
Well located in the centre of town but very quiet area, minutes away from the castle and main square. Very friendly staff, courteous and helpful. Try the restaurant for a nice local meal with reasonable full meal prices (menus of the day). They have a good cellar if you want to try the wines produced in the region.

Very characterful hotel in great location
A really memorable experience in this small but perfectly formed hotel. Parking was easy in the car park across the street. All of the village meet in the square just around the corner. An absolute gem! Ate our evening meal in the restaurant below the hotel, fabulous and the scrambled eggs served for breakfast were gorgeous. Visit Olite it's stunning.

This hotel has ambiance that makes you feel like you are in ancient Spain. The food was good and we enjoyed our stay.

Charming little hotel in the heart of wine country
Olite is a gorgeous little hideaway if you're looking for quaint, historic, scenic and within a stone's throw from Pamplona. Our room at Merindad de Olite overlooked a small vineyard with a side view of the castle almost right next door. The family that runs the hotel is charming and very welcoming. We did not eat at the hotel restaurant so cannot comment. Note: there is only a staircase from street level to reception one story above so those with limited mobility may have difficulty, especially if travelling with heavy luggage.

Great, family ran B&B hotel.
Cute hotel, felt more like B&B joint. Located inside castle walls of very charming Olite village. Clean and friendly with all the amenities, wifi etc. and great little restaurant downstairs. A must stop if traveling by car through Navarra. Very authentic.

Great family run hotel in a lovely walled city.
Would thoroughly recommend this hotel. We stay there at least four times a year on our travels to and fro Spain and England and they always remember us and take great care of us. The restaurant is excellent for an evening meal or tapas and you have to try the Navarra wine. We will be back.

Very friendly welcome,great deal on evening meal and breakfast . Quiet at night. Location in centre of town,plenty to do and see. On leaving we're told we could make this our Spanish home for the future,

La ubicación es inmejorable. La atención en recepción muy buena. La habitación es correcta y está limpia, el hotel tiene encanto. Además tiene un buen restaurante en el mismo edificio con una gran carta de vinos. Muy recomendable.

Séjour très agréable
L'hôtel particulièrement bien situé est tout à fait charmant. Il unie à la fois le charme de l'ancien tout en ayant un excellent niveau de confort. Le personnel est très aimable et prévenant. Le restaurant est très bon dans un cadre remarquablement chaleureux. Un établissement sans nul doute à recommander dans lequel nous retournerons avec grand plaisir.

Très joli hôtel typique de l'Espagne (prix correct) non loin du centre ville et du Parador (plus cher). Personnel très sympa et petit déjeuner copieux. Le parking gratuit est en dessous de l'hôtel. Il faut marcher 200m pour parvenir à l'accueil.

Es un hotelito con mucho encanto con una ubicación muy buena. Se puede aparcar detrás pero hay que tener en cuenta que la entrada es por la calle peatonal. Su personal es muy amable y agradable, sin dejar de ser profesionales.

El hotel en si bonito y muy limpio. La habitación correcta con camas muy cómodas, lo malo que la calefacción hace mucho ruido y cuesta dormir. Tuvimos un problema con la reserva, tenía desayuno incluido pero al hotel la reserva le llegó sin desayuno. A pesar de enseñar en recepción mi confirmación donde ponía claramente que si estaba incluido no se quedaron convencidos y el trato no me pareció el más adecuado, aún así desayunamos como lo habíamos reservado. Eso sí el trato de la camarera estupendo y el desayuno muy abundante y bueno. Una vez ya nos habíamos ido del hotel me llamaron por el tema del desayuno y que me lo iban a cobrar porque no lo tenían ellos como incluido en el precio, tuve que reenviarles mi confirmación (que podían haberlo pedido en el hotel y no ya una vez nos habíamos marchado y pretender cobrar sin mi autorización) Después de esto ya parece que se ha solucionado todo. No tengo pega importante del hotel pero después de este problema con la reserva y el trato recibido, no volvería a reservar aquí
