The property was as described. You get what you pay for it was a good price and the location was good. The hotel itself was more like a motel, no pool, gym or extra facilities. There’s a lot of construction going on in the area so there was some construction noise. There was no hair dryer and the towels did not get replaced with daily house keeping. The tap was kind of loose and the shower mat was old and stained. However staff was very kind and polite always. Its fine for a short few days stay in the area.
It is a simple place, almost dorm-like but the room had a bathtub and all the things that travellers need. The staff are quite nice too. Definitely worth every penny.
The hotel is very simple, nothing much to do except to sleep in the room after going around Subic, not even a view to look at outside. Parking is not available in front, have to go around at the back and walk at the side of the building, then walk the long hallway to reach the front lobby for check-in. The staff are very nice though, esp kuya guard who watches and opens the backgate going to the parking lot. Breakfast is typical variety of silog meals.
It would be better if the management use new bed linens, new comforters & new towels because some have stains due to & wear & tear

Parking issue
They fail to inform you that you have to park your vehicle on a different street in a parking lot that is not secured from the public, then you have to get the security guard to unlock a gate to let you in and out, which is no good when it is raining.
they do not cater for Expats for breakfast.
It seems that this hotel used to be part of Poco a Poco Hotel since: 1) it's part of the same structure, 2) they still use poco a poco-branded items in their rooms.
Pros:
-Quiet area of Subic (away from the night time noise along the Waterfront Blvd.)
-Relatively cheap
-Got upgraded from a standard room to a "business loft"
Cons:
-No guest parking near the check-in "lobby". There is a drop-off area in front but car owners will have to park on the opposite side of the building which is one block away. Inconvenient if you have a lot of luggage/gear or if it's raining. Why not just move the lobby to the other end so it's closer to the parking lot?
-No cafe/restaurant. Complimentary breakfast is served in your room.
-No elevator. Another dealbreaker if you have a lot of luggage
-Ceiling of the loft is really low. I had to bend over to avoid hitting my head on the ceiling (and I'm short at 5'6"!)
-Lax security. An access door that connects the drop-off area to the hallway that leads to the rooms remains unlocked and unsecured. Anyone can walk in and gain access to any room.
-Old towels. They were thin and turning gray
-Wifi signal was iffy.
Really great staff made our stay very pleasant - friendly and helpful. I needed to print and scan documents and the manager was very helpful indeed. Other staff were cheerful and friendly. The location is super convenient for everything.
Just note that the pool onsite is only available for condo residents, though we were told another hotel pool nearby could be used.
They put us in a room where the bed was in a loft. I could only stand about 2/3 of the way up. Unconfortable. The steps leading to the loft were slick and you had to be very carefull not to slip and break your neck when going downstairs.
Our room had a terrible mold and mildew smell in it as if it damp was all in the walls and ceilings. I was there with a small child, I would not recommend anyone staying here its hazardous to your health. I got the superior room which I paid extra for to have a nice room, they told me no other rooms were available when we could not tolerate the smell.
The hotel itself is old and needs makeover but the STAFF SERVICE is AMAZINGLY GREAT!!! And that makes up for the building condition. The FREE breakfast is very good. This will be our hotel from now on when in Subic. Its very close to the boardwalk and very near (walking distance) to Harbor Point and SM City. We actually get a reminder call everyday for the breakfast, considering it's FREE. It's the first for us. We stayed at numerous 4 to 5-star hotels, but none ever gave us a reminder call to avail of the free breakfast.
Behind the building are unfinished industrial works and tracts of land. Creepy feeling.
The pool looks big in pictures but is really small and unheated. Each time you want to use it you have to get a pool pass from the front desk. Should be able to just show your room key.
The restaurant is called "To Ma To". All Japanese food. Very weird setup. We had dinner there one night and the next night we came back from Blue Rock with some leftover seafood in a box from Wild Orchid (highly recommended). The restaurant is next to the pool so I asked for a plate and fork for my girlfriend. They told me I would need to pay a "corkage" for seafood - they asked me to pay equal to the price of ordering seafood in their restaurant! For a plate and fork only! Eating outside! We were shocked and declined. They just want money.
Last but not least the housekeeping stole lingerie and a new bottle of cream from my girlfriend. And they forgot to make up the room on the last night saying we didn't advise them. But we did, the front desk didn't understand me.
In the loft there is no TV upstairs.
If you want to use the in-room kitchen, you have to rent plates and cooking stuff at PHP 150 per day.
The toilet didn't work well. So gross! We had the staff there each night.
Nickel and diming on everything. There are so many other good hotels in the area - avoid this one!
Theives in the housekeeping too. I feel bad for the staff - they must be making next to nothing.
Flew solo on this trip smack dab in the middle of the Free Zone (the inside they call it)! It's nice, quiet and serene...which is what I wasn't looking for to celebrate my BDAY in! Had to go to the Blue Rock on the outside around the action to bring in the Born Day! :-) Other than that, I was charged 20 pesos for a small bucket of ice, the refrigerator was empty, ( i didn't request anything) and the staff were wonderful! It's within walking distance of a Mall, Casino, Beach, various restaurants, and nightlife! Oh yeah, the Hotel Restaurant caters pretty much to the Japanese however, an American breakfast is available.
A little out of the way and the surroundings were not at all picturesque! Room was OK but did feel that the security was a little lax. Car parking was inconvenient as if you were not early, you did not get one of the very few allocated spots close to your room. No lifts to upper floors.
I needed a comfortable place to stay close to my work with SBMA. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable and fully met my needs. I would stay here again!
If you are expecting a Florida experience go to America. Remember this is the Philippines. Hotel was good but a beach hotel would have suited us better. Clean rooms pleasant staff, and cold breakfast all included.
When we checked in on 2/8, we were able to check in an hour early. The receptionist was very polite. On our second day of stay, the key broke in the key hole and we were immediately moved to the deluxe room with the king size bed and a bigger room. The hotel is a five minute walk to the Ayala Mall with Starbucks. We are very satisfied over all.
This is truly a converted hospital.
Its old, not maintained at all, no lifts, long old external corridors leading to many rooms.
View from these corridors are to landfill full of building rubbish
Rooms with basic mechanical lock, floor no carpet, no pictures on the walls, painted white like a hospital, plastic door to bathroom. Curtains do not block the morning Sun so you wake up at 6am no choice
Room balcony facing the central court which is a carpark and a very old piece of round concrete. The only modern place is the breakfast room located in the middle of the compound.
Lobby very old and not looked after, is divided into reception for residents and reception for hotel guests. Most people we saw are residents, were sitting in the middle court doing nothing
We were shocked when arrived. Should i have been with a car i would have immediately asked to cancel my reservation and move to another hotel. I decided to stay as we had one night in Subic, and spent most of our time outside of the hotel.
Not recommended at all. Plenty of other better ones to choose from

Expensive, and a little sleazy too.
Not terrible. Typical bedding, which equates to a foam mattress with no support. Not a great location, unless you enjoy being solicited by hookers.
I liked this hotel until I found nearly $200 missing from my hotel safe just before checkout. The worst part was that I reported it to the front desk and they said they would follow up with me about it, but never did. The only thing worse than having your money stolen is finding out the hotel doesn't even care. Beware if you bring valuables or money to this hotel.

Good location, friendly staff
Close to many restaurants and the mall. Room is basic, but adequate. Breakfast is good enough and room service option is nice. Staff are friendly and helpful. Some rooms have tiny ants. Surrounding neighborhood is a little run down.
Lobby of the hotel is disappointing. Very bad.
Where as the rooms are Clean and well maintained. Overall it is very good stay with family and kids here
