Very recommendablePosted Jun 19, 2012
Great place! In the city center but rooms face the inner yard hence they are completely hidden from the traffic. Nice design - the appartment is very pretty. Very hospitable owner, takes care of the guests in a way that you feel like visiting a friend - not a hotel. Very recommendable place.

Superb for our purposesPosted Jun 1, 2012 on Hotels
Sadly we didn't get to stay long as we just needed a place to sleep one night after a late flight to Florence. The owner was very accommodating with our 11:00 pm arrival and need to leave our luggage after checkout the next morning. The location couldn't have been more convenient - just minutes to shops, public parking, and a very short walk into the old part of the city. Overall we found this B & B very clean and quite and a great value for the money.

Great Place to stay!Posted Apr 17, 2012
Pros: Our hoste was wonderful. Gave us wonderful suggestions and was nice to talk to.
Location: Just outside the old city walls. Close to the Pitti palace and easy walking distance into town.
It is a single person run Bed and Breakfast. The breakfast was a wonderful assortment of homemade jams and the normal Italian Breakfast fair. Our hoste was very helpful in suggesting places to eat and helping us to locate what ever we were wanting to see. We had a great time talking with him during breakfast. Also he made a wonderful chocolate cake for Easter.

Thrilled with ColoriPosted Oct 21, 2011
Beautiful B&B--small (only three rooms); you are the guest of the host! He always made us feel welcome, pointed us to some great places throughout Florence we wouldn't have discovered, and prepared an excellent breakfast with fabulous home-made jam. I would go back in a heartbeat.

Delightful B&B Outside the Tourist AreaPosted Jun 28, 2011
Florence is a charming city, but it's jam-packed with tourists. We enjoyed our stay at Colori because it was outside of the main site-seeing area. This did mean that we had to walk a little bit more, but for us, it was worth it to get away from the crowds and to see a "real" Florentine neighborhood. The room was very comfortable and clean, and we enjoyed talking with Pascal, the owner, over breakfast.
