This motel was cheap, friendly staff. But the people around and staying in this motel, we didn't feel safe. There were men checking us out and my kids. They gave the vibe of human trafficking. I wouldn't stay here again.

Everything was pretty good. We had chosen this particular hotel, because it was close to the venue which was our destination and it had a pool. When we got there, we found that it did not have a working pool. That was a bummer.

The room was trashed. White Socks turned black from walking on carpet. Tiles were broken. Tub was moldy. Trim and door frame were destroyed from water damage. Multiple chunks if carpet missing from different areas of room. Smelled like smoke.

I had my family with young children in our rooms. Our 8 year old found a condom in the bed sheets, and there was a bed bug on our luggage when we left. That means they aren't cleaning rooms well at all. I am pissed between the two rooms for two days it was over 500$ we spent and the pool was closed the rooms weren't clean and we end up leaving with bed bugs

Don't ever think about staying here. It is atrocious. People live here, and they are not great. Came back drom a concert only to hear tweekers yelling at each other. Save yourself. Its gross, smells bad, and is scary.

King Oscar used to be a TOP accommodation to the area. However they are trying to stay afloat at this point and you can see the wear this motel has suffered. Grout is black that should be white, lights are broke, walls are dirty, things need upgrading. But the staff remains friendly, breakfast decent, and as clean as they can be. Looking for cheap, this is it.

This is definitely an older hotel, but it was clean and the beds were wonderful.

The staff was excellent. However, the carpet in our room looked dirty and was shreded in one area, plus there was a piece of tile broken off and missing in the entryway. The stuffed chair looked like it had been shreded by a cat and didn't look clean. The commode ran all night, but the maintenance man replaced it the next day. The bathroom sink dripped, but he showed us how to lift up and shut it off. Said the washere were old and rusty. The breakfast was nice.

What a dump. First thing was that the bed frame was broken and the mattress fell lopsided to the floor. Room was full of flies. Carpet looked like it was never vacuumed because there was debris all over it. There were boogers on every wall. Seriously, why would somebody do that and why didn't they clean it off before letting people stay in that room. They advertise that they have a pool and breakfast. No pool, it's closed down. Their breakfast is some slices of raisin bread, cereal and waffles. Juice machine was out of order. After seeing how dirty everything was, didn't really want to eat there anyway. Lesson learned and I'd rather pay a little more to stay anywhere but there.

We went to this hotel because of the price and the pool. We reserved online and after driving 6 hours I walked in to see a sign on the counter saying their pool was closed for maintenance. Had no other option so went upstairs to our room and there were spider webs all over the door. The room smelled so strongly of bleach. The beds are stiff and springy. The sheets had stains all over. I took a shower in the morning and a spider was falling off the ceiling onto my face I had to jump out of the shower and grab something to kill it. Homeless people surrounds this place. No area for kids to play. I’m glad we’re we’re only there for a quick sleep. The front desk ladies were incredibly nice though. It’s super cheap and that’s a plus but I think I’ll spend a little more on my next hotel :/

so as a heads up we specifically searched for a hotel that had a swimming pool so my daughter could swim. when we arrived they had a sign that said the pool was closed for maintenance. when I asked the desk clerk she said oh the pool has been closed since I've started here that's been over a year ago. when we got into the room we realize the whole bottom level looked like permanent housing when I ask someone if it was a safe area you said no there's a homeless camp right at the end of this hotel when we got into our room there was cobwebs on the ceiling and I'm always leery nowadays of having bedspreads on the beds just because they're never cleaned we actually pulled back all of the beds and pillows to look for bed bugs and anything else the thing that bothered me was if we're searching for hotel with breakfast and pool that's what we want that's not what we got

When I pulled in, I was like....ehhhh maybe not. All changed when I walked in at night to the office. The lady was commanding yet friendly. She was very very nice but you knew if something went down, she'd be on the Frontline kicking butts and taking names. The buildings are older. The room decor is old. BUT it was very clean. People in and milling around all hours but you know what? I actually slept and wasn't worried about the equipment in the back of my truck here compared to Extended Stays in the area. Stay again? Absolutely!

Pool non-functioning (and no hot tub with it closed); dirty floor under bathroom sink (French fry of unknown origin and date); weird noise from bathroom fan during early hours of morning causing interrupted sleep; long-term tenants live on property (on back side near highway); staff was very kind and friendly; missing yogurt and hard-boiled eggs for breakfast; I would stay here again if no other options existed, even with all the issues based on cost and proximity to venues.
