Take a Black Light to any Hotel.

Posted Aug 22, 2015
Pros: Location to State capital
Cons: Needs a major overhaul very run down dirty carpets in Halls, pealing paint on walls, tile in bath rooms dirty etc.
We always take a Black light for any stay in a Hotel, It reveals dirt bugs etc. This time it revealed blood stains on the Bed. Not visible to the eye but when you turn off the lights and turn on the black light bam. Thought the Hotel would comp the room but the best they did was 25% off. Very disappointed. Breakfast was poor quality fake eggs etc.

Great Price

Posted Aug 21, 2015
Pros: Updated furniture, reasonable price, free breakfast, staff was sweet!
Cons: Air unit. Air quality was horrible! Tub was falling apart.
Location: Downtown Olympia. Was entertaining but a lot of homeless people and a lot of drug users.
The room was overall nice with updated furniture and the beds were comfortable, but it was a hot day and it had very poor air conditioning which looked like it dated back to the 60's. The air that came through the vents made everything smell like cigarette smoke- very gross! We were across from the park with live music which was entertaining.

Hotel at the Capitol

Posted Aug 17, 2015
Pros: Rooms are comfortable. Location is excellent.
Cons: The breakfast was actually good at one point, but that was before Coast took over. Now it's like any other barely edible low end hotel/motel.
Location: Close to the Capitol. There are a half dozen good restaurants within easy walking distance.
It's hard to beat the hotel's location. Equidistant to the Capitol or waterfront, everything is in walking distance. The renovation work seems to be largely complete which has added greatly to the comfort of the place.

Close to Everything.

Posted Aug 17, 2015
Pros: included breakfast. clean
Cons: shower did not drain quickly
Location: close to restaurants and parks and the capitol building
The staff was courteous and pleasant. Older hotel but clean and bed was comfortable. The location is center of city so restaurants all over the town.

Good location, not boutique level

Posted Aug 16, 2015
Mattress incredibly comfortable (impressive). But TV didn't work, room was cold and thermostat couldn't fix it, only one trash can in room. Hotel says it has renovated every room, but much of what we saw looked cheap. Staff were very friendly but couldn't always help.

Old. Decrepit.

Posted Aug 14, 2015
Pros: Desk staff
Cons: See above
AC ineffective. Corridors dirty. Toilet hardly flushes. Sink and tub cracked. WiFi painfully slow. Lobby coffee stale. Room clean and except for AC, comfortble. Hotel needs work to say the least but the price is about as low as you can get in the area. The area is sketchy and one can see why a hotel chain would not invest much on upgrades.

Nice view of Olympia.

Good location, close to the harbor and lots of restaurants. Wifi did't reach us on the 8th floor. Breakfast was ok.

Reasonable for the cost per night. Good breakfast in the morning. We would stay again.
