Average Two Star Stay

Posted Oct 3, 2015
Pros: Decent free breakfast offered with waffle maker, oatmeal, juice, yogurts, and a selection of fruit.
Cons: More comfortable beds and bedding. Fix the pipes. Put the sink in the bathroom and add a vent to reduce humidity in the room.
Location: Port Angeles Fine Art Center has an amazing woods art walk. La Belle Creperie on Lincoln have AMAZING sweet and savory crepes.
The hotel staff was awesome and I was happy with the breakfast offering, but that's about where the awesomeness ended. The hotel, though surrounded by a few restaurants, is not in the best neighborhood and not within reasonable walking distance to points of interest. The pool and hot tub were out of order. The bed and bedding were uncomfortable and the room itself had a weird layout where the sink was outside the bathroom. The room was also extremely humid, especially after taking a shower and there seemed to be something wrong with the pipes as they screeched something awful..

Satisfied

Pros: Reasonably priced. Comfortable bed. Plenty of space. Conveniently located for hikes and whale watching tour. Cons: Weak on breakfast options. Fortunately, there was a McDonalds within 0.2 miles of the hotel.

Older Motel that shows it's age. Not the cleanest place to stay in Port Angeles

Home base for activities in the area.

Posted Sep 29, 2015
Pros: Besides providing the above, it also allowed pets.
Cons: The complimentary breakfast was so popular that there was not room to serve ourselves or sit. We got coffee & went out elsewhere. (mostly carbs)
Location: Location in town that was close to restaurants, coffee shops, many variety of retail stores, & movie theaters. Also, many outdoor activities.
Were going to do a few activities in the area, and wanted a place to stay, away from home. We had the comforts of home, like comfortable bed, a TV, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and of course a bathroom. There was also a pool which we would have used if it was summer. It was close to lots of activities, restaurants and stores.

Basically Comfortable

Posted Sep 29, 2015
Pros: Decent breakfast with 1 waffle machine.
Cons: Get a decent air conditioner, and a 2nd waffle machine.
Location: Small town of about 19,000. Hardly any traffic problems.
Room 137 has an ineffective air conditioner. It needs to be replaced.
