Great place to stayPosted Nov 20, 2015
My husband and I spent a week traveling around the peninsula. Port Angeles was our first stop. This hotel is close enough to everything you might want to do but not cluttered by buildings. The staff was amazing. There was a bit of confusion with booking, however it was handled with care. They were very knowledgeable about the peninsula: hiking, waterfalls, rivers, restaurants. They kept us update with the road closures as there was a massive storm that came through. Breakfast was typical make your own waffles, toast, pastries, hardboiled eggs, cereal, ect. This isn't a fancy pancy hotel. This is getting stuff done out and about hotel to sleep and keep going kinda place. If the many focus is the hotel stay then fine something more luxurious. If you are looking for a great value with a com for table clean stay this is the place.

Ok place to stay, distracted staffPosted Oct 27, 2015
Pros: They had a bed that wasn't hard as a rock.
Cons: A lot. The staff could be more attentive, friendly, and helpful. The breakfast was of very poor quality.
I just needed a place to stay for the night and this did the trick. I was hoping to get some work done in the morning but the "work station" set up was awkward and uncomfortable so I didn't do much. The free breakfast was very disappointing for someone looking for a breakfast of "not junk". I did manage to find some hard boiled eggs in the fridge and at that with a banana. The hotel staff was disappointing in that most of them didn't notice when you were standing at the desk and were having borderline work inappropriate comments where I could clearly hear. It's fall and there was only a thin sheet and blanket on the bed. There were no other blankets in the room so I just slept in my sweatshirt. The rates are somewhat reasonable for what you get (I would have been happy had I paid a bit less a night).

Convenient to exploring Port Angeles.Posted Oct 26, 2015
Pros: Convenient, clean and comfortable. Breakfast choices many!
Location: Easy access. Near to downtown activities.
The staff was especially thoughtful when they discovered we had left a box of pills in the room. They immediately phoned us so we could return and get them. THANKS!

Friendly staffPosted Oct 25, 2015
Pros: Friendly staff, clean breakfast room with adequate choices for food.
Cons: The downstairs where we were had an odor that was in the hallways as well as the room and it wasn't from our dog as she is well trained.
Location: Olympic National Park, Lake Crescent and ferry to Victoria, B.C. Make this a popular place to visit.
We had a great rate for our room for 2 nights through Expedia but the deposit for our dog was more than I was told it would be on the phone.

There are better choices in townPosted Oct 12, 2015
Cons: Needs updating. Has dark halls.
Hotel was not as nice as the pictures. They also charged our cc more than our expedia price. There are better choices in town.

Clean and comfortable :)Posted Oct 12, 2015
We stayed Oct 10th and were there for the crab festival. Encountered three different staff persons while we were there and everyone was nice. The room was not as vibrant as the picture in the computer but it has been renovated nicely. The room was very clean , including the vents, no odor, beds were very comfortable, microwave, small frig, lots of hot water, coffeemaker, blow dryer, and tv with lots of cable channels. Everything was very clean and thatʻs the #1 thing I look for. A minor negative not a lot of toiletries in the bathroom-just a soap & shampoo- but I usually bring my own. I've stayed at the Olympic Lodge right above and they are overpriced. Oh , and the breakfast was excellent-waffles, boiled eggs, cereal, oatmeal, yogart, pasties and coffee are some things offered. There was TV in the breakfast room so we didnt miss the Seahawk game. Would gladly stay again.

one night stopPosted Oct 10, 2015
basic Super 8. Room was OK . Its an older Super 8 in a small town so don't expect much. Our room was clean but older in furnishings, the carpet was lifting up from the concrete floor. Breakfast is continental, toast cereal and yogurt. It seems the latest thing for breakfast with room service is a waffle station and they had one. Near to a strip mall with a drug store and a few industrial stores ie tools and crafts. Right next to the hotel is a family type diner.

Clean, comfortable, easy to findPosted Sep 28, 2015
Pros: Affordability and free breakfast
Cons: ALLHOTEL/MOTELs really need to go green and get away from the styrofoam cups and plates etc.
Location: Great restaurant right next door
Prebooked, right on the highway but not noisy. Room was clean and the bed was comfortable
