There was a clunking noise all night. We think it might be the plumbing. Is this common in all your hotels? Breakfast wS very good!

Best Western with Kelly Inn in Nebraska

Posted Aug 28, 2016
Pros: The quality customer service was top notch 24/7. If I simply walked out to my car at 2 or 3 am, somebody said "hello". Workout room was always tidy.
Cons: Fix the aforementioned flag pole issue and label the strange food presentation involving eggs, canadian bacon, and bizarre odd colored fluids.
Location: The zoo is a short drive away. There is also a computer LAN gaming store not too far away. My stepson took me to a variety of nonconventional places.
I came to visit my stepson and this was the closest hotel to his place. The staff was amazing and the room was great! The workout room was quite good, though small. The only things I could nit pick about are that there is a flagpole outside of the dining room area and there is a metal piece which, when the wind picks up (and it did) bangs against the flagpole itself, creating a loud clanging noise which repeated for hours. I had to tolerate this for a couple of nights during my stay. I did bring this to the attention of the front desk at check out. Another thing is that breakfast was ok but I avoided the tray which contained an odd liquid in which an egg and a lot of canadian bacon was submerged in. It gave me a fright. The wifi internet connection was dodgy and I had to obtain staff assistance and they had to make a phone call for me to finally get online. Everything else was absolutely great, the quality customer service makes it easy to overlook the few things I had trouble with, and I definitely will stay here again the next time I come to visit my stepson.

Trip to Omaha

Posted Jun 29, 2016 on Hotels
The hotel is about 15 minutes from downtown Omaha and about 40-45 minutes from Lincoln right off I-80. We spent 7 nights there during the College World Series. Staff was very friendly and courteous. The included breakfast was acceptable. Parking was adequate. Several restaurants in the immediate area. Area appeared safe but no place for evening walks. An area power outage(beyond hotel control) caused loss of partial power and resulted in a burned out elevator motor. Power was restored in 10-12 hours. The staff did what they could during the outage. The indoor pool is really designed for kids.
