Free Shuttle

Pros: Hotel was well maintained, no debris visible at any time, room was very clean and quiet. Blackout window treatments aided our rest.
Cons: If you want a parking spot in the hotel's lot, park by 5:00 pm. There is additional parking on the side streets..
Location: The "Old Market" shopping and restaurant district. Museums, art studios,shops,bars and the Zoo are nearby.
We were very pleasantly surprised with the free shuttle service. We were able to leave our vehicle parked at the hotel and traveled to all the restaurants, museums, and shopping attractions without having to search or pay for any parking fees. The hotel was very clean and staff were very polite and informative. Will stay at the Hampton again.

Amazing!

Pros: Amazing Staff, Breakfast, The hotel shuttle to the airport and the beds.
Cons: Not a thing.
I love staying at the Hampton Inn not only do they have the most comfortable beds but the best staff! Thanks Hampton Inn!! I had another great stay... KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK! :)

Convenient

I feel a check in time of 4PM is very late. Room wasn't ready when we arrived at 3:30 and then when we came back after 4, the front desk staff acted like they were doing me a favor by having my room be ready. I called prior to the booking to ask if the sitting area was in a separate room from the bedroom. I was told that yes it was. This was not the case. I would not have booked if I had been properly informed. The hotel was very loud. There was spilled beer and other items left in the elevator which the front desk staff already knew about when I informed her. Should have been cleaned immediately as it was a fall hazard. We were in an accessible room. Water pooled on the floor and didn't go down the drain as it wasn't sloped properly. Water even came as far as the carpet at the bathroom doorway which is going to cause a mold issue with wet carpeting.

Pros: the staff was great, esp the girl at the front desk in the early eve (of 2/1/17). the shuttle & drivers were awesome, quiet room, good breakfast
we stayed to be close to a concert venue, it was within walking distance but it was super cold out so the shuttle drivers were giving rides, to the concert & back. there was a lot of excited teenagers staying in the hotel so i was pleasantly surprised with how quiet it was in our room

Great downtown location, near all the action.

The location was great, shuttle service got us to our concert and was available for other things, too. Post-concert got a little frustrating as they could not pick us up at the venue because of the traffic (traffic is sort of a given, that's why people use the shuttle) and we had to walk a few quite cold blocks to hitch our ride. The small "bodega" in the lobby came in handy when we needed to purchase a couple forgotten toiletries and snacks. Staff and service was excellent, very courteous and extremely responsive. Upstairs neighbors kept us awake for a while which seriously brings into question the how solid everything is. The loud noise stopped after a time (sounded like they were moving furniture) and the beds were comfortable. Fitness room only had one functioning treadmill when I went down. Fortunately I was the only one down there so that worked out. The location, the price, and the service were really commendable. Obnoxious neighbors aside (which can happen anywhere, really), it was a very good place to stay.

Crazy tv

Overall hotel was clean, had a decent breakfast, nice pool and hot tub. I asked for a king size room since I was traveling along and got a double queen. I was too tired to deal with that so I didn't change rooms. My room was also right by the elevator and I could hear EVERYTHING. Lastly the TV was really weird. I had to get up early and tried to watch the news before I had to leave and the TV wouldn't turn on until after 6am. Not sure if they put restrictions on the times it could be used but I thought that was weird. My second night the TV turned on all by itself and woke me up and would not turn off for nearly 30 minutes. Wasn't a bad hotel, just some disappointing experiences.
