Mini vacation to the zooPosted Jul 31, 2015
Close enough to the zoo that we were able to find it easily, and the area was calm

Room smelled like cigarette smoke!Posted Jun 17, 2015
In the area for the college World Series with my son. We checked in late and there was already someone at the desk complaining of the smell. Should have just left at that point but room was already paid for. The room was pretty clean but very dated. As soon as we walked in the room my son noticed the smell. Great trip other than the hotel. I don't recommend this location.

Thank you for your review of our hotel. I apologize for someone smoking in our rooms. We try very hard to deter this by charging a $200 smoking fee when someone smokes. Our hotel just turned 6 years old and is still the newest in the area. We hope you will give us another try the next time you are in the area!

Lovely Suite!Posted Jun 13, 2015 on Hotels
The suite was lovely with a refrigerator & microwave along with a coffee machine. It was nice having a seperate sitting area. I wish could get king sized beds. There were no extra blankets for the fold out couch. Many suites we stay at always have an extra one in the room but not here. It was very clean but for some reason when we walked into the room we could smell smoke even though it was a non smoking room. Within walking distance to Quaker Steak and Lube and the AMC movie theatre which was nice. There is a free breakfast consisted of hard boiled eggs, biscuits, bagels, yogurt, waffles, cereal, coffee & juice. Wished there were scrambled eggs and sausage patties that many hotels/inns have. The 1st morning there were no utensils for the eggs or biscuits and the girl working the desk was not refilling anything as needed. There's a construction crew staying at this hotel so you want to get there early. Breakfast day 2 was better as the manager was taking care of it & she always had it refilled. The man taking care of it on day 3 kept it refilled, but no utensils to get biscuits or eggs. The guy early Sunday morning that came up when we were checking out was not wearing any kind of uniform and looked like he had been asleep and we woke him up. Overall a good stay. Might try other place in future for better breakfast.

Pretty awesome weekend stayPosted Jun 5, 2015 on Hotels
Stayed to visit the zoo because its located just 10 minutes away. Not a bad stay, room service is nice and quick, hotel room isn't huge but it was just my fiancé and myself.
