A genuine French hotel

Great location. Very friendly staff. Amazing roof terrace Wi-Fi a bit slow. Easy access to Metro and buses. Safe neighborhood (I am a woman traveling by myself). I would stay again.

The location is the best. Walk short distances a choice of a couple different subway stations that take you to all major landmarks in one or two direct lines or less. So convenient. Quad room was great for 4 adults. Fridge in room. They brought us extra coffee. Front desk staff was friendly, knowledgeable able and helpful with subway instructions. They kept our luggage secure for hours after we checked out. Rooftop patio was super cool with 360* views. Supermarket just a few steps from hotel door. We didn't pay for the hotel breakfast, but there are bakeries, and restaurants galore to walk to.

I like this hotel is closed to transportation.

I had very bad experience with this hotel. The hotel helped us to call a taxi which isn't a taxi and charged a fix price of euro 65, which hotel staff didn't tell us about. The driver which was that good service as well, first, he received a call and talked about 15 mins, then he sent us to wrong terminal, then took us 30 min to transfer to another terminal.

Dear Sir/Madam, At first thank you for your comment and information. As the taxi company or shuttle are an outside service, it's very important to know this kind of information. We stop our cooperation with the dishonest taxi. Fix price means shuttle service I think, we can not negotiate the rates of course, but we regret the behavior of the driver, we'll inform their manager about this and wrong terminal. Sorry again. An excellent hotel, with friendly, helpful staff and a great breakfast, in a convenient area of Paris. The view of the Sacre Coeur from our bedroom was spectacular. We'd definitely return.

Pros: The staff spoke English easily, and there is someone at the desk 24-hours.
Cons: Better pillows and bath supplies
Location: easy to wander the streets of Montmartre, sampling the wonderful array of shops and restaurants.
Close to Sacre Couer with a fantastic view. My single room even had a stunning night view of the church. There is a rooftop terrace with elevator access and drinks from the bar. The terrace has a 360 view of the city. The Carlton is also convenient to access the Open Tour Bus, my favorite. It stops at 2 locations nearby. From there all of Paris is open to you. The hotel serves a complementary hot breakfast, which you can have in your room or in the tasteful restaurant. There is a grocery nearby and a pharmacy. The rooms were comfortable with first-class beds and updated ensuite baths. Prices were very reasonable for the location and the quality of service. Good Location

This hotel was a great location for La Pigalle, Le Trianon, Montmartre, Sacre Coeur and Le Gard Du Nord, Moulin Rouge area. Reasonably priced room gave fantastic sound proofing from the traffic noise.The air conditioning was on but did not work. Very clean room and good maid service, although she did throw away some medication I left on the bedside cabinet. The reception were able to replace and pay for the tablets very quickly. Didn't use the restaurant so cannot comment. This hotel does not seem like a 4* hotel, more like a 3*, but a good hotel for a short stay.Friendly staff who speak good English.

Fabulous charming location with rooftop terrace.

Pros: The buffet breakfast was great, the location was great, and the rooftop terrace was not to be missed! The staff were very helpful with our plans.
Cons: The only thing that I can comment on is the squeeze tube shampoo/soap dispenser in the bathroom, I found it awkward to use.
Location: The location worked out excellently for us as we had tickets to the Moulin Rouge which was a 10 minute walk down the street.
We enjoyed our stay at the hotel and found the location to be perfect for us. We could see the Sacre Cour Church dome from our hotel room window which was a 10 min. walk and the Montmarte area is right next door. The Moulin Rouge theatre was a 10 min. walk down the street in the other direction and we had tickets for that, which is also a fabulous show. The front desk staff was very helpful with our questions about how to get around and booked us a taxi for our return trip to the airport (must do one day in advance fyi) and the free buffet breakfast was outstanding. The only thing to note is that this is an older hotel like most in France! The floors were creaky and the walls were not that soundproof, but it is very charming and the bathroom is recently updated and is spotless. The rooftop terrace is not to be missed and is certainly a gem that shouldn't be missed.
