C'est magnifique!

Posted Nov 13, 2017
The staff were all charming and friendly. The breakfast was excellent. Occasionally something in our room wasn't restocked, like water bottles, but c'est rien. I got the Superior room at a fantastic rate. The whole two double-beds to make one king is a French thing, they seem staunchly against real king and queen sized beds, but the combo bed with mattress cover was quite comfortable. Again no real complaints, loved this place, located quite close to Galleries Lafayette, the metro station, and Uber was always quick to arrive. Book it and enjoy your magical, romantic time in Paris!

Heartbeat of Paris

The staff at the hotel is very helpful and patient. They are speak beautiful english and took their time to answer all of our questions. They sent us to several "non-tourist" restaurants and they were excellent every time.

Marriott Ambassador in Paris

Posted Sep 27, 2017
Pros: It's location, cleanliness, size of the room, decor.
Cons: WC is too small, Breakfast could use more variety.
Location: Close to the large shopping mall, the Metro. Easy access with the Metro to all the sites.
The Marriott Opera Ambassador in Paris is an excellent hotel. The hotel is very modern in its decor with attractive finishes throughout. It is centrally located, close to shopping and the Opera (of course). And being close to a Metro station, it makes it easy to get around the city and visiting all the attractions. You are in walking distance to many fine restaurants as well. The hotel staff was very pleasant and helpful for the most part. We took the breakfast package which made it easier for us to start off the day. So we would go straight from the hotel to visit the sites. Though, for the 3 mornings we were there, the breakfast was exactly the same every day. The room was again very modern and comfortable. The bathroom was clean and usable, except the WC was extremely tight. We had to use it with the door open. Otherwise the room was very comfortable. There seemed to be a lot of business people around, so maybe it is popular for business trips. Overall, an excellent experience.

When we arrived in the front desk they offered to us a package that includes a better room (élite) including breakfast, vip lounge and all the goods inside the mini bar. I asked again "are you shure" and the lady said YES. When we are checking out, in our bill apears al the charges as extras. I refuse and they was a mistake but only for the breakfast charges and I need to pay for the mini bar. I insist and the manager said that will check with the girl in the afternoon. I will not accept that charges

Great hotel, great location

Posted Aug 17, 2017
Cons: Please reconsider the 80 euro fee/day for extra bed. Other than that ever thing was first class.
Location: Hotel is in a beautiful neighbourhood, several Paris attractions within a 15-30 min. walking distance or less. Restaurants and shopping nearby.

A Marriott close to shopping district

Posted Aug 17, 2017
Its a good hotel if you wish to be close to the big department stores of Paris. It would take roughly 20 minutes to reach the Louvre and writing walking distance for Opera and other Paris city center attractions
