"Clean, quiet, near the Metro"
Room 61, top floor. Elevator only runs to 5th, so short flight of stairs. No problem for me.
Good: Room was nice, had a full-length mirror, wardrobe, desk, luggage rack, stool, & kettle. A bottle of water was also provided, altho of course tap water in Paris is safe to drink (from Mar. 15-Nov. 15: don't buy water, google "Eau de Paris", go to their site, & click on "Carte des fontaines à boire" to see map of free fountains where you can fill up a bottle). Free wifi, but if you have more than 1 device, you may need more than 1 email address or you can switch which device is connected to wifi as needed (65-second waiting period between connections). It worked perfectly. Bathroom large & clean altho dated. Water pressure was great! Shampoo/body wash was actually pretty good. Cotton swabs provided.
Staff speaks multiple languages, very helpful and polite, gave me a map & rundown of landmarks & how to get to them at check-in.
Issues: I'm 5'3 (160cm) & could touch the ceiling beams in my room; might be a problem for tall people. Not impressed with the shower. If you turn your back to the spray to soap up/wash your hair, it's easy to bump the knob with your elbow & turn the water cold or off. The other issue was water on the floor. Maybe it was water dripping off the doors, but the amount of water suggested the door seam was leaking. Easily mopped up with foot towel which can be put on the radiator or towel warmer to dry, so no big deal, just annoying.
Overall great experience!
