Super smooth stay with great staff.
Nice hotel. Nice Staff. Nice breakfast. Cosy lobby. Only thing is that the standard room is very small. But for a business stay with not much time spent in the room, it's no problem. Floor heating in bathroom is super comfy. All in all a very good value for the money.

We enjoyed our stay here. The hotel is located in the middle of the city center, it was quiet, and with plenty of dining options around.

Room wasn’t ready at 4.15pm. Didn’t match the description on Expedia - the image shown is simply the bar! The room was dirty when we got it over 2 hrs after check in time. There was a kettle, but no cups etc, when asked at reception was told they only provide a kettle- but nothing that goes with it! Toilet seat had been broken and fixed incorrectly so sat at an angle to the basin. The floor in the room was that dirty, had to dry feet and put shoes on immediately after showering! Staff were abrupt in mannerisms.

Hi! We are sorry to hear that your stay with us didn't meet your expectations. During these busy summer months our housekeeping staff are working as fast as they can, but sometimes they aren't able to clean all the rooms before our check in time at 3:00 pm. Expedia have a variety of pictures from our hotel. Some of them are as you mention from our reception area, but they also have pictures from the different types of rooms we offer.The dirty floor in your room is unfortunate, and we do apologies for that. We will share your feedback with the housekeeping, as we always strive to deliver the best experience. Best regards

Somewhat difficult to access by car (google maps didn’t recognize that the road the suggested was a one-way street) Location is right in the middle of town. Part of the hotel is vintage and part newer. Well kept hotels and good breakfast!

Really friendly staff, amazing breakfast buffet and nice, modern rooms. The only minus was the hard extra bed (room for 3). Highly recommend.

There is a construction site close to the hotel and they started to work at 4:30 in the morning. In addition there is no air conditioning in the rooms.

Absolutely disgusted with this hotel chain. Our trip had to be cut short due to Covid-19. The hotel refused to refund our unused nights despite the circumstances, unlike other hotels that we had reservations with. Completely heartless. Will never use this hotel chain again. The smallest room i have ever stayed in. Only around 30cm between the bottom of the bed and the wall. Parking was along way from the hotel and expensive.

Unfortunately we couldn't meet your demands as we are binded to agreements with company which you used to booked your room and rules you accepted by the time of booking. You have ordered economy twin room - even though our economy rooms are newly renovated and comfortable, they are not the biggest rooms we have to offer. We sincerely happy that you where able to get back home quicly and safe, and are sorry that you couldnt enjoy Lillehammer as planed.

Great location. Unfortunately there are major renovation works going on at the moment but it will be great when it is finished. I would stay in this hotel again in the future.

The hotel passed its prime long ago. It is dated, in need of a renovation. But it's ok for a night or two. The room was dated too, but clean and quiet. The location is most central, next to the main shopping venue and Lillehammer Museum. Free parking is a great plus but it fills up pretty quickly. When we arrived around 5 pm only two spots were available. Breakfast was good with decent selection.

We were unimpressed on arrival. Hotel is old / dated & appears run down. Carpet is worn bare in reception. Area looked like a commission housing estate. Lot of noise from the street overnight; loud trucks coming and going from a neighbouring property overnight. Couldn't sleep. Room was tiny and no air conditioner. Advertised carparking on Expedia but hotel has none. It is a public carpark that cost 100NOK/night and limited street parking. Only good thing was breakfast which was very good fresh food. We booked this place at last minute without researching it because told all Scandic hotels were good in Norway; this place must be an exception. Don't recommend this hotel, I say it is about 2 star.

We are located in the middle of the city centre, so unfortunately we are expesed to city noises. We are very sorry to hear that you had it difficult to sleep because of it. We have parking just outside the main etrance. There is limited number of places on it, so unfortunately we can not guarantee place for everyone. We wish we had more parking space to offer, but it is not easy in the middle of the centre. We are happy to hear you enjoyed our brekfast. Welcome back to us!

300 yards from the train station, room was spotless, staff friendly & welcoming even though we arrived at 1am! Breakfast was excellent - hot food, cold meats & cheese, fresh fruit, pastries & cereal. Tea & coffee were good quality too. Would definitely recommend & hopefully will visit again.

Scandic Victoria a delight.
The Scandic Victoria is an old hotel, but is very well-maintained and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the hotel is right in the centre of Lillehammer (whereas the Scandic Lillehammer is right at the top of the city), and the breakfast was extremely good. The hotel is not impressive from the outside but the inside belies its appearance, very pleased we stayed there. Only 5 minutes walk from the train station and bus interchange, close to restaurants and shops, bank etc. Art museum on the doorstep, and only 5 minutes walk to the Fabrikken, a building housing some 34 artists and designers, who can be viewed while they work.

Fantastic Breakfast
Room was fine; quiet and clean. Staff was pleasant and accommodating for letting me leave my bag before and after checkout. Breakfast was fantastic, the strong point of the hotel. Not a lot to see and do in Lillehammer; one night is enough unless you're doing ski or dog sled excursions.

Dated hotel near Olympic Park
Staff very attentive. The hotel room was very spacious but furniture dated (one of the chair had its stuffing hanging out). The hotel was ideally located to visit museums and the Olympic Park as well as other sites in Lillehammer. Breakfast certainly set you up for the day.

There's plenty of room for improvement
Pretty good, renovated hotel. We've asked for a room at a higher level but we got a room with no view at all. The room we got (434) has not enough storage space for 2 people. The main closet was broken. Small bathroom with literally no space for toiletries. Wanna-be fridge in the room with space for fx. 4 beer bottles. The door of the wanna-be fridge was almost falling off. Comfy beds with clean linens and good pillows. The existing sofa wasn't in a good shape. Cozy dinning area with FABULOUS breakfast. The coffee machine wasn't working as it should - cappuccino and other specialities were cold. Polite housekeepers provided a good service. Reception staff - disappointing. We won't book agin.
