Poor customer service

We booked this for our wedding night and asked for an upgrade to a sea view room but unfortunately the seabird was catastrophic, building sites opposite not to mention traffic noise which was unavoidable. The staff are ignorant and don't have a clue about what they are doing or about the hotel itself. We asked for the sheets to be changed, they never bothered to do it until we went to them again and complained but they still ended up getting a mattress protector instead of a sheet. Breakfast was poor and the choice was very limited, we asked for an espresso but it never came, poor organisation to the point we regretted paying a huge amount of money for a service that is not worth it. Would never recommend to anyone.

good overall , but still few things to improve, like strict rules for unruly guests ( one guy taking the jacuzzi for a personnal bathtub...) , also avoid letting people ( voyeurs mostely ) from outside the hotel guests, use the pool. not all the equipements were working at the gym ... still nice tough

Pros: The room's decoration And The wide selection of the breakfast buffet
Cons: Unreliability of wifi access
Location: By the ocean but there is not much to see outside the hotel compound
It's a new hotel with modern facility. My room was extremy clean, quiet and well decorated. The only small negative element was that the wifi didn't work in my room (although it worked in other rooms. The signal wasn't strong enough) The ocean view from my room was gorgeous. There are 2 restaurants (one buffet style -wide selection) And one excellent Italian one. Lush vegetation and flowers surround the pool.

Hotel Virtually Empty

Clarion Hotel was undergoing renovation in public areas. Stayed on a Saturday night before a Sunday morning graduation at nearby university. The hotel was virtually empty of guests. Hotel is located in downtown San Bernardino which was also virtually empty during our stay. Hotel was nice for overnight stay, and I assume it would have more guests during the week. The room was clean, but bathroom facilites were somewhat dated.Because of the neighborhood I was somewhat concerned about hotel parking in adjacent multistory parking structure, but had no problems. Even though the hotel was empty they would only extend late checkout on Sunday morning to 1:00 p.m. which was a concern because of the length of the university graduation proceedings which began at 9:00 am, but it finished in time for checkout before the 1:00 pm cutoff. The included breakfast consisted of small danish rolls, juice, coffee and milk. Overall the hotel was adequate for the price paid, and I would stay again.
