Nice hotel within walking distance to Disneyland.Posted Sep 30, 2015
Hotel is in a decent location, walking distance to the parks. Rooms have been upgraded with nice hardwood floors. Bathrooms need more work. The shower shouldn't be that hard to turn on and figure out how to get the water hot. Other than the shower hotel was good for the price, and location. Would definitely stay there again.

Convenient hotel steps away from Disneyland ResortPosted Sep 27, 2015
Pros: Close by to Disneyland Resort, and easy to walk to from your front door.
Cons: Parking could be an issue if you check in later in the day, especially for larger trucks and long cars.
Location: Disneyland Resort is a quick walk away. Anaheim Convention Center isn't too far either.
I can't complain about my stay here except for the lack of parking. I had no trouble parking myself, but later that night, some cars were parked in spots that aren't normally considered parking spots, which could be an issue for large trucks or long cars. The TV's aren't LCD flat screens, but that's not an issue for me as I don't spend much time in hotel rooms. The showers had good control over water temperature, and the towels were standard as expected. Wi-Fi was sufficient and I had no issues connecting, nor any speed issues. The staff that I spoke to was friendly, but I really didn't need much help beyond checking in and out. I liked that the doors opened using proximity cards instead of sliding magnetic cards. I would use this spot again for a no-frills hotel next to the Disneyland Resort. I visit Disneyland at least once a year and have no issues with using this hotel next time!

Best inexpensive place near DisneylandPosted Sep 26, 2015
I've stayed here now three times. This place is a little further than some of the other motels near Disneyland, but its just fine if you don't mind a little extra walk. I felt ripped off at other places that don't get you that much closer. This is a nice comfy inexpensive place, that has a decent little pool (was very clean THIS time) and the grounds are fairly well kept. The room I had THIS time had some rust in the shower, but other than that everything was just as expected.

Not a pleasant experience (to say the least)Posted Sep 14, 2015
Pros: + Free Parking, but small parking lot (spaces are small too) that fills up quick
Cons: Stay away!
Location: Not worth it. Not even for a few hours.
Upon our late arrival (10pm), there were no spaces for parking. The receptionist said we could park in the small lot in front of the reception area, okay not a big deal. We were given room #109, a handicapped room even though neither me nor my son are handicapped. It was late and I was not in the mood to switch rooms. In the morning, we were woken up by people using the elevator right outside the door and people using the stairs. The shower was disgusting. The drain had rust and mold around it and though there was no bathroom floor mat it had permanently left a discolored mark. My four year old and I showered with our pool sandals. At no point was I comfortable taking off my shoes during my entire stay. On our departure, I informed the receptionist of our unsatisfaction. I asked her why she had placed us in a disabled room when that was not what we booked. She said there was a packed house and no rooms were available. However, I booked months in advance with Expedia. + Free Parking, but small parking lot (spaces are small too) that fills up quick - Disgusting rooms - Expedia reservations are given last priority. + Luckily my stay was for a few hours, but my sleep was not restful.

Updated RoomsPosted Sep 14, 2015
Pros: New Rooms and nice staff
Cons: Fix Hot tub
Location: Disney is a 5 minute walk. very close to Mini mart and dinning.
We have stayed at the Alamo Inn a few times because it is close to walking distance from Disneyland. It was not much to talk about before other than the staff was always very nice. But I was very surprised to find that they updated the rooms and beds. It is a great price and nice staff. If you are used to staying at the Hilton then No this place is not for you. But if you want a nice cheap room to sleep in and a friendly staff well here you go. close to mini mart who's owners are super funny and a great Italian Restaurant Marri's.

Generally goodPosted Sep 12, 2015
Pros: Close to the park Good staff Clean room Reasonable price
Cons: Wifi connection
Location: Walkable distance to Disneyland. Lots of places to eat around.
As a whole, the hotel was unexpectedly good after I saw lots of negative reviews after making a non-cancellable reservation. The place is close as 10 munites walk to Disneyland, and no safety concerns about walking back from the park at night. The hotel staff was very good. They let me park the car when I arrived in the morning, so I could save money by parking here and walking to the park instead of parking at Disneyland's parking which will cost $17. Also, the hotel staff allowed me to use the laundry machine before going to the park. This was really good as I knew I will be late comming back after spending a day in the park, and don't have time to do the laundries. The room was old, but clean. Satisfactory condition if you are spending the day in the park and just staying here to sleep at night. There are lots of eating places very close to the hotel. The only bad thing is that the wifi connection is very weak, and it is hardly usable.
