Posted Jul 19, 2016
Pros: Everything. The decor, comfort, nice staff. All the comforts!
Cons: Can't think of anything that could be improved.
Location: Few miles from Newport Beach. and wonderful Peruvian restaurant across the street!!
This was a beautiful hotel. Close to Newport beach, and nice Peruvian restaurant across the street. Would stay here many times over. Note no breakfast unless you buy it. But worth every penny.

Gorgeous room, terrific restaurant, great staff.

Posted Jul 19, 2016
Location: Easy access from the 405.
The front desk was very accommodating in securing a handicap room. The room was beautifully appointed. The entire hotel is perfectly decorated, the restaurant is terrific, and the staff are awesome.

Good location near shopping

Posted Jul 11, 2016
Pros: Ease of check in and check out. Easy assess to shopping, freeways
Cons: Cleanliness of bar drain
Location: South coast plaza, airport,
For the most part everything from check in to check out was smooth. One negative was a wad of woman's hair was found in bar drain trap. It made me gag.

While the room was quite large, it was definitely dated and old. The pool area was nice with cabanas and lounge chairs everywhere and there was even a little tea garden which was nice and beautiful. Our bathroom didn't seem overly clean. There were liquid drops on the toilet that I hoped was simply water, but one can't be sure. The young man at the reception desk wasn't Mr. Congeniality but he wasn't rude either. All in all, it was very average. Oh, and the location was awful as far as proximity to amenities. You definitely couldn't walk anywhere worth walking to and, what was around, closed early. So, for a clutch place to stay that's inexpensive, this will do fine. If you're looking for anything special or better than...well... average, keep on looking. Happy travels!
