I’ve stayed at this property a number of times and have always enjoyed my stay. Staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms are spotless and comfortable. The onsite restaurant and bar is great and’s i always enjoy chatting with the bartender, Mikayla. The complimentary breakfast has been consistently good.

Every time we go out to vacation in California, we love staying at the Ayres. We’ve stayed at pretty much all of them in the Orange County area except for this one, so we decided to try it out, even though it was further out. No regrets! This location has much better parking than other locations. Property was clean, staff was friendly, area was really safe. We will definitely come back to this one.

When I got to my room the refrigerator wasn't working. They immediately sent up a maintenance technician who replaced it. Easy!

Our room had ants crawling around in the bathroom, sink area, and sink by coffee maker. Twice maintenance came and sprayed something and wiped it away with the dead ants. They returned after each time. The breakfast area was very nice and breakfast was wonderful.

Has a very comfortable feeling when walking in the door. Possibly due to choice of decor but still it works. The rooms are clean and furnishings well positioned for ease of movement. I like this hotel a lot and will be returning.

Our room was very nice Really appreciate the frig & microwave. Loved the afternoon cookies! Enjoyed the full breakfast but it'd be nice if it went a little later than 9. Had dinner at the restaurant. Food was pretty good but french fries were VERY greasy. Location is just off the freeway so not scenic, but was quiet.

The rooms are so terrible. First off, my bathroom smelled like someone had been sitting in it smoking for a year straight. It was horrible. I doubt that this was the case as the rest of the room had no odor, but it was unbearable. I checked in late and didn't have a chance to move once I had unpacked. It was so bad that the towels reeked of the smell. I actually took the towel to the front during check out and he was even disgusted. In addition to the smell, the bedding in horrible. I didn't sleep at all. Sleeping on sandpaper is not my idea of comfort. Really? Spend a few extra dollars and upgrade the sheets. Then lets talk toilet paper. Same sandpaper as the sheets. It is sad. It's a nice hotel, great property but I'd much rather sleep at a Residence Inn for the same price. I will NOT be returning. Oh, and they only have 2 EV charge spots.

This hotel was clean, quiet and comfortable. We stayed in room 231 and we never heard a peep from the street or other hotel guests. All of the staff were helpful and professional. The breakfast options included bacon, sausage, pancakes, eggs, cereals, yogurt and more. The hot options were cooked on a grill that you could see and served to you by the cook. They use real dishes and silverware instead of paper or styrofoam. The food quality and options were better than other hotels of similar prices point that I have stayed at in the area and around the country. I will definitely stay here again.

It's a nice location and nice area to stay. The staff was friendly, breakfast was good, lobby is big and clean with sitting area inside and outside. Rooms are wide, very clean with nice amenities. The only down part is that the walls are thin and you can hear the next door TV, shower, stomping etc...If you have hard time falling asleep at night not sure that you'll love this place.

I've been coming here almost annually for around 15 years. Ayres Suite Mission Viejo is in a great location in Orange County. Close enough to everything but in a quiet area. The hotel itself provides a relaxing atmosphere and the breakfast is excellent.

Stayed one night. Nice property with generous sized rooms. Front desk staff as excellent. 3 negatives for me was the HVAC. Haven’t stayed in a hotel will a wall unit in ages. The heat worked great however the unit was very loud and clanking. It kept waking me up during the night whenever it turned on and off. I finally got up and turned it off. Secondly, the room door opens directly to an open bathroom which was strange. While the shower and tub combo and the toilet were behind a separate door, the vanity area was directly when you walked in to the room. Finally, there was a dampness and humidity to the common areas which the hotel tried to counter act with numerous ceiling fans running on high. I didn’t spend much time in the hallways so overall, it didn’t have much impact on my experience however it was still very noticeable. Overall, despite the negatives, I would stay again.

I was given a room that had a strong chemical smell. I had to immediately open a window, but it didn’t have a screen. Also, the television didn’t work. I had to move rooms. Ugh
