The hotel room was dirty. Floors unkept, refrigerator visibly dirty. Air conditioning unit falling off wall. Drip in bath tub that was very loud. No coffee cups in room when asked for them the maid brought one because that's all she could find. The maid service is lacking. Each day had to request glasses, cups or wash rags. Room was never made up completely. We were up graded to a room that had been updated, but still an old building with bad maid service. We will not stay again or recommend this hotel to others.

Close to parkPosted Nov 2, 2015
This was my second time staying here. I like this hotel because of its close vicinity to the park. The staff is always very pleasant and helpful. Never had any problems with the rooms.

Closest to Disney ParksPosted Oct 23, 2015
Pros: Proximity to Disney Parks
Cons: Repairs to ceiling and walls were noticeable
This hotel is one of the closest (non-Disney) hotels. It is an easy walk (South of the parks) and probably closer to the parks than the Disneyland parking lot (north of the parks). It is clean, nice staff; safe parking, good TV and baths, comfortable beds. We found it perfect for our needs which were a nice place for a mid-day nap and night sleep, not to spend a lot of time inside. It is amazingly quiet this close to the world's biggest theme parks. Harbor Blvd. has moderate traffic, but the speed limit is fairly slow. You do have to pay $15/day to park in addition to the quoted price plus another $5 tax. I wouldn't say this is a hotel where you will be pampered (if that's what you're into) but for around $200 it is nice and was worth the convenience to make the time at Disneyland more enjoyable. They did give us a complimentary upgrade to a suite from the standard room I booked-That was nice!

Location is the best asset!Posted Oct 13, 2015
My daughter and I stayed here while visiting Disneyland. The location is great, right across from the park entrance, and next to McDonald's, the front desk staff were courteous. However, there are tons of hidden fees, check in is later than most places (4pm) and you must valet park your car. I think the worst part was coming back to the room to change and swim around 3:00pm and the room still wasn't made up. So we put in our suits and went to the pool for a couple hours. The room still wasn't done when we came back. So we tested about 30 minutes and went back to the park. When we finally came back the room still hadn't been touched (the maid had been to the room next to us when we left for the pool) inexcusable. We also went to Mimi's for breakfast in morning only to come back and have the huge TV cabinet moved at an angle blocking the door because the neighboring room had no tv reception. The man was kind but still not acceptable. I wouldn't stay here again and I hope Disney does something with it now that they are buying it - definitely not Disney standards.

Pros: Location is usually what brings me back every time, but knowing that I will wake up feeling rested and ready for the day helps.
Location: A short walk to the crosswalk and you are in the bus loop where Disney guests arrive, after a quick check at security, you are ready to enter Disney.
I've stayed at this hotel many times over the years and I have never been disappointed. The staff at the main desk are helpful and eager to assist with any of your needs.
