The rooms are really nice. They have taken a old hotel and redecoratedestroy the rooms... They have done a nice job We were on the second floor and could hear the people walking above us. Staff super friendly . Breakfast was good. It is located by lots of places to eat and lots of shopping. ...

Pleasant Hotel Close to the 405Posted Oct 16, 2015
Pros: The rooms are clean, of reasonable size and the furniture and carpet are taken care of. Hotel staff is willing to help you in any way and that makes
Location: Across the street from a small mall with restaurants and grocery store.
Nice place but the door to the rooms is outside. While the only entry is through the front area, a short ladder will allow any intruder access to the first floor and to the hotel. The coffee in the room is not drinkable and the free breakfast is worth no more than that. On the good side, the rooms are clean, of reasonable size and the furniture and carpet are taken care of. Too many budget type hotels have furniture that looked like it was purchased in the 1980's. Hotel staff is willing to help you in any way and that makes up for a lot of small items you may not like.

Nice hotel and close enough to the beach.Posted Oct 12, 2015
Pros: Price was just what I was looking for.
Cons: The pool area could use an upgrade, but it was still nice.
The pool could use an upgrade but everything else was perfect.

close to shopping and restaurantsPosted Sep 17, 2015
we really enjoyed our stay at comfort suites Huntington beach. close to shopping and restaurants. quiet area, we didn't hear any traffic. the rooms were very clean and comfortable. the breakfast had a nice assortment of choices, not just pastry and coffee. we would stay again.

Better choices are available.Posted Sep 15, 2015
Pros: There was absolutely nothing that we enjoyed about our stay at this location.
Cons: Where do I start?
Location: Many things to do nearby. Just don't ask the staff for suggestions or directions, they haven't have a clue.
VERY DISAPPOINTING! There was absolutely no room for two adults to navigate within the room. We had to step aside for each other just to gain entry to the bathroom. I am a disabled veteran and have difficulty walking and particularly climbing stairs. I indicated my needs through Expedia at the time of booking and specifically informed the staff member at check in of this fact. He put us in a room on the third floor despite my needs being reflected in the reservation stating they didn't have anything available on the first floor! What's the point of a "reservation" if it's ignored? To top it off, the elevator was out of order more often than it was operational. On the day of check out, had to traverse the three flights of stairs with our luggage as the elevator was again "Out of Service" and there was "no one available" to assist us. Hotel staff seemed put out if you had any questions for them and didn't seem to know the area enough to give proper directions to nearby locations. I highly recommend shopping around for ANY other option for lodging in this area beyond this one.

Nice locationPosted Sep 12, 2015
Pros: Close to shops and fwy.
Cons: New reception staff.
This is the third time we have stayed and each time I make excuses for the poor customer service by reception staff but not a third time. The hotel is in a nice location is slowly getting renovated but the reception staff always will always make you wait at least 5minutes before they serve you and never once in that time ever acknowledge that you are there. They have poor customer skills and after waiting around 20 minutes to complete check-in with no one else waiting they sent us to the third floor only to find the elevator was broken. Very heavy suitcases and poor customer service did not make the initial experience pleasant. There are plenty nof other places nearby to get next time.
